Chiu Chow Food Smile Jul 24, 2011

It is quite well-known to have Chiu Chow style yum cha but among so many restaurants in Hong Kong, which one is really worth trying and taste good?

So on that day's afternoon, we settled down and there are 2 of us. If you cannot decide what to eat, we suggestion for you is to order the set lunch for 2 because it's really cheap and worthy. It's a hundred and something for two, including a hot dish, which I ordered Bitter melon with beef, two dim-shum and a choice of noodle or rice or congee. But the congee is highly recommend. Lastly, we ordered a dessert too, the steamed crystal cake, with two lotus puree and two red bean puree. The meal is absolutely delicious.

I & my wife ordered several chiu chow dim sum- bad taste, cold & oily. The worst was
that chiu chow fried noodles- soda taste, oily with not more than ten thin slices of pork
& five small shrimps 73HK$. The service was so poor, food were bad taste the mal
captain was impolite. We decided will never go there in our next trip in HK.I suggest
this restaurant must close down immediately.

We went there for celebrating birthday with 10 friends. Ordered the simple and basic Chiu Chiw dishes. All the dishes were going smaller and some of the dishes like deep fried shrimp ball and crab meat ball were not hot enough. Don't know why they charged so expensive??
