huffy Without a doubt one of the most frustrating and disappointing restaurant experiences I've had service-wise - I eat out frequently in HK. There were 5 of us dining that night; one of us whom were visiting HK for a few days and thought Dragon King would be a good place to try HK cuisine. Sat night, 8pm dinner. Will begin by first commenting on food quality - it was so-so, passable - I've always thought that the Dragon King in Wanchai was significantly better ...

I just had lunch at the Dragon King Restaurant in World Trade Center this afternoon under suggestion of a friend and another colleague. This is a restaurant “managed” by one of those celebrity chefs; however, it was just overly praised and priced; and the food was nothing to write home or suggest to others. We had the following: 1.Shrimp dumpling – Tasteless and overly priced. mad 2.Vegetarian dumpling – Okay but if you ordered the steamed crystal dumplings wit...

I must say I was impressed with the food (dim sum) and the environment and decoration. However, what I am most displeased about - are the staff's service attitude. Perhaps they are over-worked or under-staffed, however, the kind of words and types of facial expressions were uncalled for. Case 1 - Call in for a table booking and requested for a lunch table for 5 at 12:00pm. The (telephone ) reservationist rudely replies there is no table available at that time, and if I want...

I really wish I could give this place a thorough review about the food. With a star head chef (displayed so proudly via life-size prop up board), I thought I was in for a great dinner. Too bad our food never arrived. My family (party of 10+) reserved a table for 7:30pm and arrived prompt. A couple people were going to be late so we ordered first but asked the staff to hold on bringing out food until everyone arrived. At around 7:45 everyone was there so we asked a waitress t...

During my 3 visits the food has always been excellent, service spoilt the experience. Yesterday, because of Catherine (from reception) I felt I had good service, so I will defintely be going back and recommend Dragon King to my friends as well. The charsiew and all bbq items that come of the kitchen are done to perfection! smile

I do not agree with the previous comments on this restaurant... and I personally strongly suggest you all to try this place... They really placed lots of effort in making food Cantonese food... Personal recommendation... 1. Dim Sum: Chan Chuen Rice Noodles, Deep fried Taro Pastry, Almond paste Mexico bun 2. Rice: Hotpot Rice with Preserved Meat + Sausages... (ONE OF THE BEST hotpot rice in Hong Kong...) 3. Roasted Rice Duck.... Reall...
