I asked ah bak how much I needed to buy at least and he told me, "都係一底囉,都係十蚊,咁耐都冇加過價." The waffle was heavier than those I ve got in somewhere else. It's darker in color. As decribed by previous reviewers, it's like many tiny cupcakes linking together. I asked the passers-by whether they would like to have some. They all declined my invitation so I took it all by myself. The waffle was still cripsy when I arrived in Central.
I like its simple yet good egg flavor and it's a real shame that we may not see this Ah Bak in Tai Hang anymore.
Side note: Regarding the below review. May I clarify? People with low income can receive the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) too. If Ah bak did fail to report his income, the Social Welfare Department can adjust his CSSA allowance. Whether Ah bak receives CSSA or not does not change my view that - it is ridiculous to prosecute Ah bak three times in a week when his cart was not of an unhygienic condition and did not block the road at all. It's hilarious that ah bak was charged with illegal selling given that he hadnt started selling yet. Should I be charged with selling a baby if I carry a baby stroller to the street?
