This place has since becoming more frequently visited by me and my friends, particularly because the overblown excitement of new venues on the LKF leaves a bitter aftertaste..

I especially appreciate that this place is at the heart of LKF yet can still bring a conversation tranquility. Few places allow the real lounge atmosphere around here. Once a place is hot, all these kids come flying in, and when its not, random tourist fills in the gap of a dull night. I find that those who come to Club 90+ though simply come to enjoy the leather sofas, the wine and their company. I like that their hor d'oeuvres are great to match their wines.

I must say I have had a wonderful night with 3 gorgeous ladies this weekend. Thank you ladies. We had the intimate window sofa which remains one of the best place to savour a night of conversation and Burgundy.

Had lunch there with a girl friend for her birthday. Despite booking a table a week in advance, they did not reserve a table for me by the window as required, but had to clear out a working table with their laptops and receipts etc. for us.

Had to ask for water and bread. Had to ask for the menu. Had to ask for cutlery. And then we were told there was no chicken left, only sausage pasta or salmonfillet.

The soup was watery and the lentils were tasteless, i felt like i was in a refuge camp. The salad was mildly better, not enough greens, too much mayo dressing. Scallops were fresh.

Mains were ok, the spaghetti was too "al dente" (read: uncooked). My salmon was good, juicy and tasty.

Tea was Lipton.... hmmm.... maybe i should just come for the wine as so many people recommend.

ah, per my last entry, I found the Spanish wine I mentioned, which isn't carried by many outlets in Hong Kong apparently.
Clos d' Agon Calonge Vino de Mesa de Calonge Blanco, 2001.
Flagrant honey on the nose, medium bodied, soft-textured with notes of citrus and peach, long finish. Wraps around the tongue like a full Chardonnay without the annoying greenness, crisp like a Sauv Blanc but not flat, full like a reisling but not syrupy. Myself and the company with me were all very taken by this lovely wine. Thank you to the gentlemen from club who introduced this to us.
We have been back quite a few times and have asked for wine recommendations with very good results.
It is such a nice place for lounging and chill with a glass paired with great conversation.
