Pizza & Chicken is where I go for, well, pizza and chicken in Tsuen Wan. You can get real pizza here and not scallops and corn with thousand island dressing.

Pizza: I've only had the pepperoni, because that's my favorite. So another reviewer said that the crust is too doughy and I have to agree. The crust is very puffy, but not overly dense at least. It's not particularly crispy on the outside either. The sauce is sweet-ish, but they don't overdo it. There's plenty of cheese and pepperoni, but even so it's not greasy. The pepperoni isn't that weird grey sausage you find on, say, Shakey's pizza-- it's reasonably good, though not crispy and not fantastic. The pepperoni pizza comes with onions, which is OK but less than ideal for a pepperoni purist such as myself. I'd give the pizza a 7/10 and that's saying a lot for HK pizza.

Chicken: The fried chicken is great. I don't know what it is about Chinese fried chicken, but it's always way crispier than the stuff you find in the west. It's got a little bit of a soy sauce flavor, but for the most part it's just good, juicy, crispy fried chicken. They only have thighs and legs (you can probably get wings too), but that's sort of the way of things around here. 8/10

I should mention that you can get a lot of food here for relatively cheap, and it holds up decently upon refrigeration, Nothing like cold pizza and chicken for lunch!

I've also had one of the pasta dishes (it came with a meal deal). It wasn't very Italian, but it also wasn't very bad. I won't rate or anything, because you shouldn't be going to Pizza & Chicken for anything other than pizza and chicken.

    Overall: 7.5/10

I tried this place a few times and I their pizzas are okay - crust is too doughy, but the toppings and sauce are good. I will only get it for takeaway from now on, however, because they just don't like to clean at that restaurant. Aside from the occasional bug that flew by, the pasta and the pizza were not bad. It was one of the few pizza places in Tsuen Wan that did not have corn on all of their pizzas. I have ordered pizza for delivery from them a few times and the only hitch is it takes 60-90 minutes when they're busy so plan ahead.

Pizza and Chicken by far serves the best pizza and chicken I have had in Hong Kong, BUT there is something seriously wrong with their management. If not for the awesome food they have, I would not order there pizza again.

    1. For everyone's information the opening time for this branch is at 2:00pm NOT the 11:00am that is written on their website or this website. (i tried calling between 12pm-1pm. i would say i called 10 times before I called their other branch and was told the opening time has changed to 2:00pm for Tsuen Wan branch)

    2. If you try calling at their "busy hour" like for example 6:00pm nobody will pick up. I called 7 times to get through. (you probably can tell by now...i really wanted my pizza!! tongue) AND after i got through and someone picked up the phone...i was cut off middle way. i called back and was told "my battery is running low...make your order fast!!". oh my...i really wanted to laugh out loud and say..are you kidding me.

anyways..if you really want your pizza, like i did, i guess it's worth calling. but i really really hope the management of pizza and chicken is reading this and can hire more people to avoid this problem.

GOOD LUCK CALLING IF YOU WANT YOUR PIZZA!!! tonguetongue
