Do-it-yourself restaurants are popular here in Japan. Pepper Lunch is no exception to this – actually, this DIY theme is the basis of the franchise.
It is a DIY affordable steak fast food which promises a dynamic and fresh culinary experience for everyone by presenting the novel concept of a sizzling steak.
I ordered a set of garlic steak and it costs around hk$80. The set comes with white rice as well. The steak was served in iron plate which is using a special electromagnetic cooker to cook. The iron plate will heat up to 260C in 70 seconds and remain hot for another 20 minutes.
This is a good experience I had! Nothing much to complain but the taste is so so esp. I saw how the staffs were handling the un-cooked steaks & food inside the workshop when they were still in frozen form etc.
What I can say is that this is nothing special to me
