This is the first time as June and Ketsu and 'Machi 1' are our Jap food choices as well.
Finally go there for lunch - I had their daily special while my dear picked sashimi rice.
First we had a salt escargot as appetizer. The escargot is not small and quite juicy. While it is covered with salt, the seafood flavor is strong indeed.
Then here comes my daily special with deep fried oyster, grilled beef steak, soba and sashimi rice. Every little bowl is satisfactory. The deep-fried oyster is still warm and remains its crunchy topping. And the oyster is juicy. For the grilled beef steak is a 50% above raw, the meat is thus chewy. For the soba, it is a nice one that the texture is elastic and the sauce is well-made. As for the little bowl of sashimi rice, it is good and the rice is just warm that is neither too hot to served but the right warmth. The portion of sashimi and rice is nearly 1:1 to my perspective. However, I prefer them to serve the sauce separately for the deep fried oyster and soba. Overall is quite nice with a reasonable price. And every little bowl can be finished, nice!
As for my dear's assorted sashimi, the sashimi are large chunks I can see. And the rice portion is as well 1:1. The flavor of the fish is satifactory, and the rice is of the same comment. Really very reasonable.
In addition, we have tofu and coffee ice-cream. It's ok, my coffee ice-cream get macadamia nuts

Now it turns out to be difficult to pick which Jap restaurants in Tin Hau ...
