As a South Asian Food lover, We went for Thai Restaurant again ( Actually must eat Thai food twice a week)
Normally, We love the food in Yuen Long 泰屋 Sawadee Thai so much > the food is so stunning and with great environment, and we prefer thr outdoor one .
We were going to try the food in Jordan 泰屋 Sawadee Thai.
We went there around 1:00pm but no need to wait for a table as not reli very busy, as we saw , many empty tables. I guess the place is a bit big there. But also nice place to be there:

We order:

Executive Lunch set for Two ( around$ 160)
Including:
Thai style fired Rice
Ok, but prefer more taste and more thai herbs

Soup of the day
Is chinese soup , I prefer thai soup. Reli dont know why thet serve the chinese soup??and the soup is not reli ok, full with MSG taste

Fired Thai vegetable
Thai Snacks: Spring rolls, Shrimp Cake, Thai Fish cake
They are all quite crispy, taste is good, esp. the Shrimp cake. I can bite with the small chop shrimp

Two drinks:
Hot lemon tea x 2
Normal

We extra order: Thai broneless chicken feet
They are OK but prefer more spicy and more taste

Overall is Ok, but the food in Yuen Long is reli better and more Choice

the food in 泰屋 is not ok
the food is not 正中!
the curry tatse like cantonese curry rather than Thai curry
and the 烤飽 looks like those bought from supermarket and reheat in microwave

the 炒飯 is also not really 泰式

also the service in 泰屋 is poor
the waiter are also "black face"!!!

Went to Sawadee Thai (Jordan) with family for lunch.

We tried
Satay (Beef and chicken)
Beef satay was too tough to eat.
Chicken satay was good

Seafood Coconut Rice
The portion was plentiful and there was rich coconut taste! One of the better dishes!

Cow Tail Stew
Also one of the better dishes! The cow tail was very tender and strong beef and tomato smell

Prawn Cake
Quite nice.

Indian Beef Curry

Chicken Rice
Chicken was tender.

Papaya salad
A bit spicy but papaya was very crunchy and fresh.

Overall the food was not bad! The ambience was quite relaxing as well.

However, their service quality has yet to improve. The waiters look bored and were in face quite rude.

When we asked for sugar substitutes for my diabetic grandfather they said they don't have any of that and did not seem apologetic nor offer alternatives. They should feel ashamed for not being able to cater for people with different dietary needs.

Eaten last night 31st Dec...food no flavour cannot believe from Thailand....... sate overcooked and very dry. Tom Yam soup not spicy also no flavour.... pad tai noodle, like fried noodle with ketchup....
if only pay $100 can accept but nearly 400....

the restaurant is HUGE!!
the environment is reaaaaaaaaaaally nice! warm lighting and comfy seats.

Food wise... not bad!! We had the "dong yum gong" soup, curry crab with pancakes, fried vegetables, sashimi shrimps and some others, which I forgot...

all of the food meet the stardard but cannot say there is a "WOW" feeling. I love their environment, so I will definitely go again if I want to eat Thai.

i came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. i was pleasantly surprised when i first walked in. it has a hotel feel to it, definitely a comfortable place to chill with friends. there were 5 of us, and we sat at a very spacious booth. we ordered the small appetizer sampler plate, coconut chicken soup, green onion naan, belachan ong choy, red curry pork, and a side of steam rice. there were pork satays, egg rolls, fried fish and shrimp cakes, and fried pumpkin sticks. the fried appetizers were warm and crispy, but the taste of the dish wasn't that impressive. i personally really like the coconut chicken soup. it was the best out of everything that we ordered. the naan is good as always when dipped into the curry. the rest of the dishes were definitely forgettable. the service was just so-so. we had to wave most of the time to get the waitress' attention when we needed something. one good thing is that they let me bring a birthday cake there and also brought it out with a lit candle on it. we ended up paying only 88 bucks per person, and the birthday girl didn't even have to pay.

3) must order " curry crab"!! (~$150) with naan bread
4) $700 for 5ppl for a big dinner with desert
5) better book a table beforehand when its weekend and holiday
