As my previous review for Spaghetti House mentioned, my Spaghetti House's VIP membership card was reaching to an expiry date. I had been quite a frequent visitor of the House lately and I've decided this time, the visit will be the last one for now. Tried a lot of dinner sets, I guessed it was time for some tea sets in order to draw a good conclusion for my experience in Spaghetti House for the past year. The tea sets weren't bad, but weren't too memorable comparing to their dinner sets. Perhaps that was why the tea sets was a lot more cheaper than any other times I visited.The highlight of the meal must be the White Cappucino. My Mum and I ordered four in total! We ordered two tea sets each and they offered a free drink to go along with each set. It was interesting how my Mum and I were slightly addicted to the White Cappucino once we had a sip of it. To be honest the flavour was quite light and one could hardly taste the caffeine, but I guess it was appealing to us with all the white foam on top and it was refreshing to drink a cup of Coffee-like beverage in an afternoon.The Caesar salad with norweigan smoked salmon & garlic toast was extremly small. We were only able to grab a few bites before we found the plate empty. The smoked salmon and lettuce were not bad, the tiny tomatoes worthed mentioning as they were extremly sweet! However the garlic toasts had turned hard by the time the dish was served.The Triple surprise: Creme brulee with prune, tomato salad with black vinegar sauce & baked chicken fillet with mushroom & cheese did not look as grand as the name sounded. You got a taste of everything, in a small portion that was. The Creme brulee and baked chicken fillet was not bad - only if the portion could be bigger. As for the tomato salad, I found it more like a side dish than treating it as part of the main item of the list. I would prefer this dish to be more attractive if the portion was small - at least it could win my heart in terms of the visual aspect..I was most disappointed at the 6" super deluxe pizza. It was much smaller than the display picture on the MENU..and much smaller comparing to the ones served at dinner. Good thing that the pizza remained freshly baked - I always loved the melted cheese! The crusts were slightly hard which was a downfall..but I guess one couldn't demand more for a tea set that cost around 30 bucks?

Frankly, I think the tea set served in Spaghetti house wasn't too bad, but the surprise definitely did not hit me as hard as the dinner sets.

Spaghetti House worths more than just a plate of spaghetti!

I love Spaghetti House, seriously. I joined their VIP membership and has been a fan all along. Their amazing pasta and set meals are the reasons keep pulling me back Spaghetti House has a great marketing strategy and I'm always stunned by their creativity in packaging their promotion every season - there'll always be surprises awaiting for me to uncover during my visits! Same happened to my visit tonight.

There's a Spaghetti House near to my home. I always go there with my family, including tonight.
Another reason why I love Spaghetti House is that they have promotions from time to time. This time, it was discounts from BEA credit card.
Hence, we picked the BEA東亞信用卡二人套餐: 意國風味2人套餐 (HKD$258) + 小食拼盤

It was not long til we the salad and soups were ready to serve. 鮮蝦凱旋沙律煙肉配蒜茸多士: Since I was with my braces, I was unable to taste the garlic bread. As for the salad with shrimp and beacon, both my mum and I liked it. We were vegetable cravers on the first place so we thought it was quite a nice starter to begin our dinner. The dressing wasn't too heavy and thick. It was not a bad start!

粟米雞忌廉湯: I absolutely loved it! The soup was thick and creamy - with the ingredients of sweetcorn and chicken pieces added in the flavour. Perhaps this was originated from a canned, but it definitely reminded me of my childhood memories when I used to have Campbell for every meal!

意大利菜湯: Quite disappointed..my dad and I did not like it as it was too watery comparing to the Cream of sweetcorn and chicken soup! The flavour was light. Comparing to the Italian vegetable soups I had elsewhere, this was quite a disappointment 小食拼盤: It was my second time ordering this snacks plate during my visit to Spaghetti House. I quite liked its combination as I liked the onion rings as well as the pork sausage. This dish was OK as we got a taste of everything - but only if the portion could be bigger..I quite appreciated its salad at the middle - to balance the meaty portion with vegetables - smart! 珍寶什錦薄餅 (厚): It did not take long for the pizza. For one thing I liked about Spaghetti House was that it had a well time management in serving dishes. So when I was just about to finish a plate, the next one was ready on the table. Perfect! For this pizza, it was my third time trying it out and none of the visits disappointed me. I simply LOVE this pizza! It wasn't big (medium sized) but enough for my parents and I. I liked the fact that the cheese on the pizza just melted - so when the pizza just came out from the oven to our table, it was still freshly baked and pipping hot. When you had the slice on your hand and took an agressive bite, the cheese was able to mix with the thick crust and the ingredients to slowly dissolved on your mouth..providing the classic 'linkage' in between your mouth and the pizza (if you can imagine what i'm talking about..) Personally I strongly recommended this! 乾番茄野菌天使麫: I always liked dried pasta. Comparing to wet ones like carbonara and bolognese, dried pasta offered an alternative choice for pasta lovers. The pasta was fried with herbs and dried tomatos before it was served. Therefore the customers were able to taste the heat and smell soonafter it was placed on the serving table. One suggestion - the pasta tasted too moisturized - more frying please? To wrap up the meal, we had cold and lemon tea for drinks. We did not feel like giving additional money for fancy drinks, so we sticked with coffee or tea. The cold lemon tea was quite nice - though it was quite a small cup but the syrup portion was just right (mind you I'm an addict in syrup when it comes to lemon tea). As for the hot lemon tea, it was extremly small with no filling of hot tea...the tea was quite strong (black tea perhaps?) I guessed the tea was better used for milk tea.

Overall, this meal was a super satisfying one! I always liked Spaghetti House - comfy setting, reasonable prices (with constant promotions), friendly staff, delicious pasta and pizzas..what more can you ask for during inflation period in Hong Kong?

horrible lunch...
because of chinese new year (but today is 25/2 already!), they dun have early lunch set, so we joined the vip program and ate the set lunch for two which is $228. The price is quite expensive considering for lunch but the other sets are expensive and not attractive, so we just ordered this.

The lobster soup tastes weird, abit bitter.. the lobster pasta tastes very bad too, the angel hair are all soggy and i can't taste their flavour at all, i really didnt know what i am eating. The salmon from the salmon salad isn't fresh!!!

Of all the spaghetti houses I have eaten around HK, this is the worst of all!
