Sham Shui Po is one of my favorite places in HK with they're best local eats and they're cultural facade. Other than always coming to this area for the vintage ceramic hot pots, I am a HUGE fan of this restaurants beef & egg sandwich I came here again for a nice afternoon snack today and even though it felt like I was going to die from the heat, I still made it and ordered my favorite with my family (SO WORTH IT!).There was a short line up but it was alright. The turnover for these local restaurants are pretty quick so it only took 5 mins because we had a table (seated with other patrons, of course) My favorite beef and egg sandwich (toasted bun) of all time!! What's special about it was the flavor of the minced beef. The first time I tried it 3 years ago, I was in awe because it was a flavor that I've never tasted before--rich, fragrant, delicate spice that I cant pinpoint where I've tasted before, and the beef is not canned bought like the other restaurants. I really enjoyed it especially when the breads is hot and crispy with all the melting butter. A lot of people enjoy their pork knuckle with noodles. I'm not a big fan but I tried it before and it's VERY tender and falls apart easily, However, I didn't think it was as rich or flavorful as the hype built it up to be. My friend ordered their shrimp wonton and beef brisket thick rice noodles and it's pretty descent. The beef brisket was tender enough but still preserved that chewy texture where you actually feel like you're eating a large piece of meat. The wonton was a bit disappointing but that's alright. The beef soup base for this was thick and not too salty, so I think overall it's not bad.

When you come here, expect lots of people and a large crowd. It's not the most comfortable place to be but trust me, that beef and egg sandwich is worth a try.

Amazing refreshing and tasting boba!!!
What makes their boba drinks different? High-grade ingredients and freshly made bubble or tapioca pearls every two hours!!!Yum!
Fresh Boba is the best. It makes a huge difference in the taste.

food are great however the place is dirty

Ordered the minced beef and fried egg toast, sandwich and the famous wonton noodle. The noodle was not impressive - very average.
The sandwich and toast were good. The minced beef they used was fresh beef, preserved with sugar, hence it was a bit sweet, different from the other places that used can beef. A pleasant surprise. We will come back and try their toat or minced beef sandwich.

I brought someone to the Sham Shui Po area to explore - and after some reviews about here using a Fresh beef and Fried Eggs Sandwich, this was another Shop we were about to explore, this also being my 1st time here! Having been disappointed yet again with Fried Tofu and Tofu Fa at 公和荳品廠, we were hoping this would make up:

FRESH BEEF AND FRIED EGGS SANDWICH (TOASTED):
The toast slices are not as evenly done compared to say those of 勝香園 or 祥利冰室, not many other places.
The so-called Fried Beef with Eggs was lacking the 'outside newspaper clips advertised' Wok-Chi, yet still somehow too overcooked within anyway! There wasn't any beef taste and the eggs have very little aromatic eggyiness either, surprisingly! The beef was too soda-powder treated, where's the Fresh beef it promised? OH WAIT, I FINALLY GET IT... APPARENTLY, ANYTHING THAT IS NOT PREVIOUSLY 'SALTED-CORNED' NOR REQUIRES A CAN OPENER BEFORE EATING, CAN BE LABELLED FRESH BEEF... SO ITS MY FAULT THEN! The eggs here also weren't fluffy and seemed squash fried rather than layered, scrambled style - a very lazy job.. Although its not popularly ordered at 勝香園, over there they also can make a similar Sandwich using non-corned beef and that version beats here hands down without doubt in every single aspect.
ICED MILK TEA:
This was quite milky in a way without detectable tea flavours, although its smooth in a syrupy way. Definitely not its forte here.
SALTED LEMON AND LEMON COKE:
Surprisingly, whenever I order this at any shop - the result always turns out slightly different. The one I got that day was great!

SUMMARY: Not going to come back. Its easily replicable at home at much higher quality plus as much as they boast about Fresh beef here, its just a word play on anything that's not Corned-Beef. The Iced Milk Tea was amateur quality at best.
There're many better alternatives out there.

Go to ssp to transit to another bus. drop by here to have breakfast. Order the famous 蛋牛治 and 紅豆冰
蛋牛治 is very good. The beef is the fresh beef not from the can. toast is fresh and crispy
紅豆冰 is good too. Red bean is soft and with (sand).
