    It's alright Just OK Mar 15, 2011

Came here on a week night. It doesn't really get completely full. The wine list is alright.

The oysters are over priced (as expected) but quite delicious none the less. The bread basket was very average. The spot prawn appetizer was a joke. $160 for 2 pieces of raw shrimp that's not that fresh. Their squid ink pasta with shrimp scampi was not bad. Quite oily but very flavorful and satisfying.

Service is generally attentive. However one of the waiters was completely clueless. Polite, but clueless. He didn't seem to know the menu at all and look at me like I was speaking some alien language whenever I ask what an item was..

Anyway this is one of the many King's Group restaurants nearby. The menu's not that extensive.. will probably go to the other ones on the same street next time.

I went here the day before El Cid, the food here is awasome. I think i had 7 oysters that day, the french one is the best and of coz the most expensive one, irish rock is gd too, you won't want to hv the japan one if u had those 2 types first. eat the expensive one at last. Basically, everything is gd here, oysters, steak, appetizers and even desserts. Leave some space for desserts. its pretty gd : )

    excellent lamb~~ Smile Aug 27, 2007

Dine with my boyfriend and his two other friends last saturday nite before a K event. There was quite a large variety of oysters, think around 20+ types. We picked 7 types, including kumamoto, coffin bay, cherry stone, irish grigas etc. They were ok, but my favorite would be cherry stones (although they were a bit small when compared to others that i have tried before). We ordered a scallop carrpacio, seafood fetticine, rack of lambs, lobster soup. The best would be the lamb, tender and juicy... absolutely delicious!!! We ordered apple crumble and hot chocolate cake to end. Overall, the dinner was good and the managers there were friendly.

We ordered 2 bottles of white wine and the bill came to around 2700. It was ok cos we have a total of 28 oysters.
