Noticed that they offered Breakfast buffets during the week so decided to try it out.

I assumed it was downstairs at the Canny Man but it was located on the first floor where Ginza Kurando is.
Ginza Kurando has been refurbished lately and the furniture and fixings are no longer black but they have used Pine wood.

For $98 there is free flow of juices, coffee and tea.
Payment is collected imediately so you are free to go when your finished.

However for the Chinese dim sums they did not have prawn dumplings which was disappointing and the sausages were chicken franks and not the true British type sausages.
My favourite items was the croissant and cheese!

The price for the all you can eat buffet has gone up, but there are a few new items.

    These are:
Deep fried Japanese cheese and potato mochi cake,
    Sweet potato in lemon syrup,
    Pumpkin salad
    Beef tartare
    Spanish omlette

The buffet is the same format as before, you write down the items you want and the table number and pass it to the waitors.
I forgot to order the Japanese cheese and potato mochi cake and the Spanish omlette was not available that day.

    Sweet potato in lemon syrup:
This looked different to the product shot, on the product shot it was a round shaped sweet potato ball on top of lemon slices.

    Pumpkin Salad
The portion for this was huge!
It was pumpkin mixed with mayonnaise, and the taste not two sweet.

    Beef Tartare:
The beef was thinner than it looked in the picture.
It was stale because the raw beef in the middle was not soft.

Most of the Sashimi was good, but there was one weird scallop that had a dark orange colour.[IMG:3

Nice variety Just OK Apr 23, 2010
Share with MessengerShare on TwitterShare on Facebook
The cost here is slightly more than the other all you can eat Japanese places, but the food here is surprisingly better than their lunches.

Lots of varieties, the grilled scallops are the best, they have clams in sake too.

Tasteless ramen Just OK Apr 28, 2008
Share with MessengerShare on TwitterShare on Facebook
Went with friends on a weekday for lunch,
many set lunches for around $6x including side dish, main dish and drink.

The sushi came as it appeared on the menu, so did the main dishes. In general, the food was ok, however the ramen was tasteless, so after adding the soy sauce from the sushi, it enhanced it.

The tea was good, western tea, however my fd complained about his coke, saying it tasted different.
