I used to like this resturant a lot. They used to provide Quality Service and served Quality Food. I think they have switched chef or owner.
They changed their menu that use to have a lot of different varity and special dishes to a menu with food you can find at any other Japanese Resturant.

I ordered a sushi roll that was suppose to have crunchy balls on top of it. The Crunchy ball was chewy and the sushi had a THICK layer of rice. It was bad.

As for service, appartenly I think my waitress was new, on top I think she was stupid.

I don't think I'll go back to it again

I went this Japanese restaurant 2days before, after I ate the food with 3 of my friends, all of us are felt sick and cannot went to work yesterday, we guess their food must had problem and not fresh. Our bill is more then HK$500, and we need to paid for the doctor fee another HK$200 per person. however expensive and why this restaurant can serve this kind of food to customer.

Yesterday I tried this place with 2 friends and found the experience to be very positive. I don’t know about the experience of previous posters, but I found the service to be brilliant, I give them full marks for service.

We got there about 8pm on a Saturday evening and there was only a very short queue ( 1 table). After a 30-second wait, the girl at the reservations desk politely explained to us they had no 4-seat tables left and offered to seat us at a larger table than normal - we ended up with a spacious self-enclosed 6-seat table instead. J

The waitresses’service were very professional. They were always attentive to our table’s needs and I must say I haven’t enjoyed such good service from a medium-priced Japanese restaurant for quite a while. When each food item arrived, they expertly explained each food item to us, and how to eat the Sukiyaki we ordered.

Thye were also quick to take orders, and were not pushy, we ending up chatting for at least 30 minutes after we finished eating, and the waitress never bothered us except to pour more green tea for us now and again.

The food was nice - the portions are somewhat larger than Wataxx, their biggest competitor. As for what we ate, for the three of us, we ordered 6 dishes (such as sukiyaki hotpot, okonomiyaki, buttered scallops, mini pizza, a vegetarian sushi roll and a 7-types-of-sushi boat), plus three cocktail drinks. Naturally we were very full.The final bill came to about $150 per person, and we left a nice tip for the service staff since the waitresses were so nice to us. J

Overall it was a highly enjoyable experience and I’m sure I will be going back again!

although the food was good, esp. the chicken cheese pizza, the serice was really BAD and it wasnt worth paying any tips, including the 10%service charge at all.

and the waiter (a boy serving the smoking area) forgot to give us the coupons that should be distributed every mon & wed. luckily we requested for them and he just said he forgot.

the waiter didnt like refilling us tea either. was the tea very expensive???!!!!

if there're some changes on the services, there will be a lot better for sure

I have lunch in this restaurant with friends.....i have ordered a set lunch....there is fried fish ,rice ,fried egg, tea ,cola and some snake.....for only $ 4x...
the food is very good....especially the fried egg......
but dun order the lemon tea.....i think it is the vita lemon tea +1 piece of lemon.....
the whole restaurant is well-designed....the enviroment are relaxing and the service is good...
