    chopstickIt is not my first time to visit this restaurant. I usually come for tea with a few people because the place is comfortable, the food is good and the waiters won't 'shoot' you away.tongue
    Since I think this restaurant is quite good, I recommended it and went there again for dinner (first time). It is always impressive to people who first come here because the theme of restaurant can be found anywhere!

    Men may not like pink, but their companions would usually buy it so it was full of couples the night we visited. However, we saw there was a room reserved for gathering for around 10 people. It is really thoughtful for the restaurant to have a separated room for gathering.

    We three people ordered different dishes and we really liked the bread and sauce. Many people have recommended the onion tuna sauce in Openrice and I liked it quite much, but my friend thought the onion is a bit stinky.

    Everything on the menu has a very long name and it was the only dish that I had marked down its name. Though it said the sauce was spicy, it was not spicy at all and the taste of goose liver was quite unique. However, the pork was a bit tough and my friend was the last one who finished the dish because she had to spend time cutting and chewing it.

    This grilled pork is from a special menu and the display was quite appealing. I appreciate the cook's effort on cutting the sausage into the shape of a flower and the arrangement of the veggie. Many restaurants don't bother about the display and think it doesn't matter to the customers. I think if you want to charge a few more bucks with the same ingredients from a dish, this is effort you have to pay.
    I also liked the french fries, they were real fresh from the stove and nearly burnt my tongue. Freshness is the best seasoning in the world.

    This was the dish I ordered and the potion was larger than I could consume. The beef was tender and the dish was rich with ingredients. If I really have to criticize it, I would say the spaghetti was not 'al dente' enough.

    Finally, the complimentary dessert is a real surprise. My friends and I were talking about how many restaurants in this price range would still serve complimentary dessert nowadays. We could think of the Chinese restaurant with red-bean soups only. This restaurant was serving coffee mosses. It was really tasty and it really looked adorable.

    pork with spicy sause with spegetti
    -->3 slices of pork which are quite thick, the outer part is cripsy and inner part keep juicy~ sause is not spicy enough and spegetti is not too hard and not too soft, hv butter taste too!

    bread with salmon sause
    -->freshly baked bread which is soft inside and cripsy outside! salmon sause is very creamy!

    grape jelly
    -->too small in size, they add some cream on the top which can enhance the taste which is quite smooth! not sweet as a whole

    cold milk tea
    --> milk and tea portion is right, not too sweet too!

    -->very special, cream on the top is creamy and smooth, the soup is very hot and rich in salmon taste! there's a piece of salmond inside too, but abit too small~ mix the soup with cream is very good!

    -->quite salty as a whole, but so many seafood, such as prawn, squid, crab mear, green mouth, salmon, in tomato sause....angel hair is not too soft and not too hard, sour and sweet taste can let me eat more!

    cold chocolate
    -->rich in chocolate taste! but the choco powder not totally dissolve! if can add cream then more prefect!

    A fairly good start to the meal - the bread was freshly toasted with a hint of garlic butter on the top crust, and there was both butter and salmon paste provided. Though the latter was thoroughly yummy, it was somewhat similar to tuna and was not much of a surprise. Perhaps I was expecting a more salmon-y paste that is made with a more unique method rather than just mixing salmon with dressing/mayo. However, the crab roe decorating the paste, to me, reflects a certain amount of sincerity on the restaurant’s part – it wasn’t much, but shows that the restaurant cares about the presentation and quality of its food, including that of the pre-meal bread.

    I have no trouble paying extra for this. I like a foamy top, and this was definitely foamy. Plus, the smoked salmon meat in the soup was amply savoury, and not over-cooked, and the soup itself was of a suitable thickness and attractively orangey pink in colour.

    This pasta dish was extremely easy to eat, and I found myself finishing it very quickly. No doubt, a main reason was the softness of the angel hair – together with the tomato sauce, it was nice and hot and mushy and barely needed chewing. For those who like al dente pasta, therefore, this should not be ordered in the expectation that it would be an authentic Italian dish. It’s more like a simple, comfort food, simply baked, with simple ingredients, but quite hearty just the same. However, I wouldn’t say the seafood was that abundant, and there could definitely have been more pieces of smoked salmon in it – I was looking forward to eating more of it, after having enjoyed them in the soup. Nevertheless, the scallops, and mussels etc, though small, were baked to a likeable softness as well.

    The scoop was small, but what matters more, of course is the taste – there was, surprisingly, an adequate taste of rum and also many raisins, albeit the taste was a teeny bit artificial. The texture was not that smooth or creamy, but I wasn’t expecting to be served gourmet ice-cream anyway. I also appreciated the thoughtfulness of adding a wafer biscuit. Like the crab roe mentioned before, these little things that seem so insignificant actually make a difference to a diner’s overall experience of the restaurant.

    In all, I felt I’d had a good meal at a reasonable price. The waiters were polite and helpful, and always refilled my glass of water without my asking. It’s always nice to see a restaurant give good effort. And, its emphasis on pink salmon works - all too often, I see a restaurant that presents itself as being a specialist in some particular food, yet failing terribly to live up to that claim. I would love to see Pink Salmon go even further to highlight its prized ingredient by creating more dishes that incorporate it. Anyhow, I would certainly come here again for a casual meal.

    Been there for many times for dinner. Their dinner is very delicious, portion is big. We tried beef tongue, pig knuckle, seafood set and salmon set. Everyting is good except smoked salmon is not very fresh. The soup, coffee and chocolate dessert are good too.

    The restuarant rule is each people has to order at least one item.

    Price is reasonable with the good food provided in such big portion.

    Their lunch is not as good though but cheaper.

    Advise to book ahead for dinner, otherwise may have to wait.

    Due to a lot of good comments and with the high expectation... well... nothing really special there...

    Is quite hard to find and the look from outside is not very attractive... inside was dark and very crammed...

    The service is not so good... i guess they are busy... and the food... again... just normal... i didn't even finish them and didn't want to take out...

    would i come again... well... to be honest... i don't think so... i mean is NOT bad... just nothing special thats all...

    I thought I would give this a try and see if I like the Norwegian Salmon ..

    bowl燒紐西蘭牛柳伴鵝肝 looks impressive, 鵝肝 good , beef O.K.

    dessert : not my cup of tea
    bowl 心太軟 chocolate pudding looks fine but taste disappointing
    bowl bread and butter pudding huffy mad

    I have read many comments about this restaurant and most of them said that the food there is good and service is good. So I went there last Sat. with my wife. After we tried the food there, we found that the ffod there is not worth for the price.
    We tried the appetizer combo, steak, spaghetti, chocolate cake and sofle with chestnut. The steak is not too good. huffyThe spaghetti sauce is too thick and sticky so we just eat a little.huffyThe appetizer combo we tried is ok but the salmon belly is not so good.sadThe outside of the chocolate cake is too dry. The sofle with chestnut is ok but not worth.
    On the whole we won't go there again.mad

    This is a restaurant I would like to recommend. Good food quality at very reasonable price.

    7 of us went there for lunch sets. We ordered Salmon, Chicken and Pork chop and Spaghetti, etc.

    The meal is delicately made and nicely presented. Main dish goes with fresh vegetable put aside. Good for balanced diet!

    The seating is quite good too.

    A nice lunch experience!

    What's a suprise to this cafe! I have no expectation to this cafe, the food is ok, and the sauce is tasty with bread. The waitress are good,they are not cool. just only 3 waitress to serve all ppl...ai.....

    Last week, I and my old classmates were enjoying the gathering in this restaurant!!! We have about 10 peoples and we were arranged to have the gathering in the small separated area, therefore we won't be annoyed by other customers.
    The food in this restaurant was good, and I will recommend some food for all of you!
    1) The potato skin
    2) The salmon sauce for the french bread, it's my first time to try the special made sauce in this restaurant!!!!
    3) The lamb rack
    4) The steak fillet
    Go to have a try in this restaurant , as the food and environment was good , and the price wasn't too high too!!!^.^
