Our party of six arrived at around 20:15, but the shop was full. We waited for about 10 minutes and were given a table on the second floor of the restaurant. Perhaps it was because one of us is a frequent customer, the waitresses were pretty efficient. The owner also came over to see whether everything was fine.

We ordered quite a lot for six people, but it was definitely a great meal!

胡椒味菜浸及第 - amazing soup with sufficient white pepper corns as base

蜜椒爆雞花 - combination of honey and red pepper was a pleasant surprise

Also recommended: 琵琶豆腐, 煎肉餅, 潮式煎釀茄子, 生滾粥

Lovely home-style cantonese food

Old fire pork and carrot soup pretty good.
玫瑰太后雞- great texture, fresh not frozen. Soy sauce subtle and sweet.
Tofu+fish balls- The minced fish meat stuck together with the tofu quite well. Texture springy, fish flavourful. Sauce was slightly thick but overall good dish.
煎脆肉餅- pork with diced water chestnut and anchovies, stesamed then fried. Very delicious, went very well with the slightly sour worcester sauce.
Fried green vegetables (dou miao) with garlic nicely done, the least oily I have ever seen, practically steamed. Healthy.
Steaming hot bowls of rice with the grains beautifully separate and fragrant.

Reasonably comfortable (no backs to the chairs though), service ok (too many customers), doing good business.

if you want to try some local chinese food, dont miss it.
I recommend 清湯腩too, nicely done.
I used to visit there quite often, close to my ex-office. you will sometimes meet some celecbrities / stars..if your lucky enough.
