    屯門行山前,補充乾糧,麵包已經是必然之選擇,
    經過這店,揀了一袋(黑糖香軟飽),售價16元重量300克,
    內有已切開之麵包10片,基本成份有小麥粉及黑糖。
    黑糖香軟飽,雖然有輕微黑糖味,但不太甜,亦不覺很軟熟。
    這款麵包,個人就不太喜歡。

    We have been here for about 3 times from memory !! With different people along the way..

    I fully KNOW that many others might see my reviews as being too critical like a tosser - I mean, how much can u expect from a cocktail lounge for taste? To me, the weirdest thing is that so many of the upcoming new cocktail places are given awards left and right but you just know you have had better in life. mad

    Honi Honi Ttki Lounge and it's owner agrees with me for a change and I am glad someone is listening indeed!! When the result doesn't perform to the price, it is the critical moment when all the BS stops on the dime!

    I pay like $500-$1,000 for cocktails and drinks on a weekly basis when I am already behaving myself LOL! ... When will places start to do real QC, and care for my feelings too though. At Honi Honi Tiki Cocktail bar - not everything was spot on so far, but at least they used freshly squeezed juices for the cocktails, and it is currently one of my favourite cocktail lounges in HK. smile

    自從有咗團購,對食肆嘅投訴就多咗好多好多,貨不對辦,將貨就價,供貨不足,條款苛刻……呃人搵笨之聲此起彼落。無可否認,有啲奸商真喺藉團購搵著數,貨不對辦嗰啲就唔在講,最常見就晌個團購度抬高個原價,跟住個團購價就大折讓,好似好平,查實跟店方平時其他優惠差唔多。北海道牧場餐廳一向以「嚴選日本進口材料」及「用上招牌3.6牛乳製作」為綽頭,自然吸引唔少3.6牛乳粉絲,不過,今次晌度享用嘅團購就唔喺有咩不快事,無中伏,無投訴,個團購仲喺超晒值mad

    未講食,先講講故仔。事緣依個團購「$38 北海道牧場餐廳二人餐 (價值 $88)」晌一月尾推出,一推出已非常熱買,小弟晌1月31日都買番一套睇門口,一來因為「北海道牧場」未試過,又見好評不少;二來兩個餐夾埋先收你$38,無其他雜費再收,實在吸引力好大;再者,幾間分店都用得,唔使一買就要揀指定分店,好大彈性,豈可錯過tongue。不過使用細則確喺有點點「要求」(從網站照抄 http://www.groupon.hk/deals/hongkong/Hokkaido-Dairy-Farm-Restaurant/716708303):
    •優惠券由2013年1月31日至2013年4月30日有效
    •星期一至日 3pm 後堂食或外賣適用
    •套餐外賣另加 $4
    •每日供應數量有限,先到先得
    •最後落單時間為關門前30分鐘
    但喺,2月5日已收到團購網站嘅電郵:「由於今次優惠反應非常熱烈,為保持一貫優良的食物品質給我們尊貴的客戶,餐廳每日將特設獨有的供應數量,先到先得。而優惠劵的兌換日期亦會延長至2013年5月30日。」shocked而且,個團購亦已列明可供選擇嘅套餐只有「A5級日式免治和牛飯」或「頂級厚切餐肉飯」兩款,仲圖文並茂;4間分店嘅營業時間一樣有詳列,尖沙咀店寫明星期一至日8am-7pm(其他分店收9:30pm / 10:00pm),不過,依一點實不相瞞,小弟都走漏眼,第一次6:45pm去到但食唔到(因為最後落單時間喺收鋪前30分鐘)sad,去因為慣性心諗邊有咁早閂門,幸好小弟一向除咗列印張團購券外,仲會印埋啲細則條款,團購個詳細內容出嚟,避免到時有咩誤會。咁長篇大論,想講嘅都喺想話買團購消費者都有責任睇清所有細則,所以話人哋個團購只得兩款套餐選擇,又話人哋因為團購就一早閂門,去到又話買晒……實在有點兒那個,香港嘅投訴文化實在頗嚴重sad

    第一次到訪摸門釘,第二次再訪晌5月11日傍晚5:00pm,去到人龍唔見,可能好多人仲以為個團購做到4月30日,而且晌入口玻璃門仲見改咗營業時間去到10:00pm,所以如果真喺藉團購呃你錢就唔搞咁多嘢啦。招呼方面亦都唔錯,幾有禮貌,因為小弟要等老婆,掗住個位成十幾廿分鐘,啲店員都無乜唔妥嘅態度smile,見我枱面乜都無,先間中走咪嚟問我落咗單未,啲嘢食喺咪未到。
     
    入到鋪內,約莫8乘滿,所以有好幾張枱可以隨意揀。尖沙咀店呈長條形,一直入可以入到好深,有個小房仔咁,坐裡面就最靜局,騷擾少,裝潢簡約,氣氛自然。

    雖然個團購已定死兩款指定套餐,不過總會好奇佢哋仲有咩好食,所以趁老婆未到翻翻餐牌,又影低啲相留記錄。餐牌A4呎吋底面兩頁,一面喺散叫,包括飲品、三文治、鹹甜小食、麥皮、湯意 / 湯通、忌廉雞湯麵、飯類同燴意粉。另一面則全部都喺套餐,由早餐、三文治餐……‥到飯餐,價錢$29-$44。

    如果散叫一客意大利蕃茄炒蛋配厚切餐肉飯都要成$35,加$5變套餐多杯餐飲當然抵好多啦,而今次個團購平均以一個餐計先$19,半價都唔止,抵到無嘢講喇啩。塊餐肉真喺超厚,比平時晌茶記食到嘅厚成一、兩倍之多,近2厘米厚shocked,味道則跟茶記嘅無分別。而餐肉之上配以意大利蕃茄炒蛋,其實只不過喺炒蛋再加啲鮮蕃茄蓉,撤點乾香草啫,個炒蛋表面平平無奇,切開先發現裡面半熟狀態,仲有少少蛋漿,正呀lol!飯底旁淋上蕃茄汁,不過一睇就知,跟炒蛋上嘅鮮蕃茄蓉喺兩個級別,但整體個飯都仍然唔錯。
     
    餐飲老婆要咗杯熱檸水,原來唔喺一般西檸,而喺半粒鹹檸,唔酸仲帶點鹹,有心思呀!

    一客免治和牛飯配煎蛋賣$39,喺全店所賣最貴嘅飯。免治牛採用鹿兒島A5和牛碎肉加上特別調製嘅醬汁做成,雖然只喺以碎肉做,但做免治都無咩分別,確喺幾好食,幾有牛肉味,可惜免治牛嘅份量唔多,跟團購張相滿到瀉就有頗大落差喇。蛋方面可揀太陽蛋、反蛋、炒蛋,唔出聲就自動俾太陽蛋過你,隻太陽蛋煎得好靚tongue,睇個黃就知隻蛋幾大吓,又煎到半流心,即喺流心得嚟感覺又唔會太生,啱晒我老婆,我就鍾意生啲,所以小弟自己晌屋企煎太陽蛋就一打蛋落平底鑊就即該熄火。飯粒用日本新潟米煮,圓潤有咬口。
     
     
     
    餐飲選上北海道咖啡,唔使加錢,轉凍飲、凍華田、北海道3.6鮮奶、太太生薑黑蜜先要加錢。所謂北海道咖啡,原來只喺一般即磨咖啡,不過唔喺落花奶,而喺落北海道3.6牛乳,老實講,咖啡雖然香,但唔覺有好大特別喎,總之揀番落普通花奶,效果可能仲香滑啲。
     
     
    依餐其實當夜晚飯,因為一陣有小組聚會,只喺較常食早啲啫,事關雖然改晏咗好多先收鋪,但都怕是日團購套餐沽清吖嘛,白行一趟就無謂啦!

    深水埗是從早到晚都那麼熱鬧的地方,難得來到當然要試試「地道」美食。
     
    二十四小時營業的新香園雖然以蛋牛治馳名,連我落單要蛋治 ($10) 阿姐都要再三肯定我不是點「蛋牛治」(我不吃牛的)。另外要了杯奶茶 ($10)。
     
    烘了底的麵包幾香脆,塗了牛油,裡面的煎蛋脆口但不是我最愛的滑溜口感,可能真是要有牛肉才能發揮傳說中的化學作用啦。
     
    奶茶要了少奶,然而茶味不夠濃,整體的感覺是水汪汪的。
     
    又,烘底是要加一文的所以埋單是廿一元。由於價錢相對便宜所以仍然值得一副笑臉。

    I was really thirsty so bought a drink from here and drank it imediately after I paid for it so there are no photos.
    I did not think it would be listed in OpenRice but it was, annoyingly this other restaurant which I expected to be on OpenRice was not listed.

    Job's tears drink:
    On the drinks list, it claims to be low in sugar and I really appreciate that.
    When I drank it, the sweetness was just right.
    Usually Job's tears drinks are really viscous, but this one was not which made it a good thirst quencher.
    I will definitely buy drinks from here again, so there will be photos next time!

    繼早前獲邀到位於銅鑼灣的一間 Japanese Dining Bar 《Sowelu》 試吃了一頓福岡美食後,這天又和兩位食友一起到這食肆其下的另一拉麵店《烏骨雞拉麵 龍》品嚐福岡拉麵。能得到餐廳和美女公關的再次邀請,實在深感榮幸,在此先要說聲多謝。當然更加要感激的是當天獲得日籍師傅熱情款待,還有為我們作詳盡翻譯的 N 先生。

    原來這間來自拉麵之都福岡的《龍》,是以烏骨雞作招徠。據說拉麵店的創辦人認為,人的生存不但是為了嚐盡人間美食,而且更要吃得健康。而根據現代醫學研究,烏雞含豐富的黑色素、蛋白質、維生素和氨基酸,所以以此品熬製湯底,不但養陰潤胃、健脾益氣,而且味道更清而不膩。咦,那一會兒豈不是要連湯都喝個清光?

    其實這間位於前「稻荷屋台」的拉麵店,店面很細,只有十來個座位,而且由於剛開業不久,知名度還不算高,所以食客流量不多。不過四周裝潢非常之有特色,尤是牆身以卡通龍、活潑小雞、洋蔥頭及拉麵等圖案作點綴,甚至連『家訓』都出埋,既流露出可愛和童真的一面,亦可以感受到製作團隊的認真。

    喝過店員送上,入口帶點清香的冰凍麥茶後,也是時候翻閱餐牌。其實店子的拉麵湯底選擇唔算好多,只有味噌 (可選辣味噌)、屋台豚骨、醬油及鹽味可供選擇,售價由 $78 至 $108 不等,視乎辣與不辣及是否加配叉燒而定;不過原來每款拉麵都已加入了竹絲雞作湯底,貫徹店子健康理念。如果唔想吃湯麵,更可點油撈麵來品嚐,不過就每日限售 20 碗,據說十分之搶手。

    至於麵條,據日籍師傅講,全部都是由福岡即日空運到港,並且以冷藏保鮮,而目前店裡的拉麵就分別有直、曲和幼三款。據麵廚稱,如果萬一有甚麼因素導致班機延誤而缺麵,店子寧願暫停營業亦不會以別的麵條代替,由此可見,製作非常嚴謹。

    和食友兩人都點了濃厚鹽叉燒拉麵 ($98),而分別只在於其中一碗選了幼麵底。先細看這碗混合了竹絲雞和鹽味的拉麵湯底,雖然外表沒呈乳白色狀,不過喝起來味道頗清甜,而且入口完全沒半點油膩感;加上每碗麵還配有極之香口的炸洋蔥粒和帶點韌勁的筍片,賣相十分對辦。

    至於另一主角拉麵,質感極為爽口彈牙,就是連沒加蛋製作的幼麵,亦不失應有的口感,於吸滿了湯汁後,吃起來更是豐盈味美。

    當然不得不提的還有三片切得極薄、呈半透明狀,入口即化的豬腩肉,即叉燒,和咬落充滿蛋香的溏心蛋

    也試了另一食友點的極上味噌叉燒拉麵 ($98),論麵質和配料,相信與濃厚鹽味分別不大,不過加入了味噌的湯底,喝起來除了散發出自然的豆香外,還有一股獨特的鹹香,果然是別有一番蘊味。

    至於另一款乾身的油撈麵 ($78),筆者先把麵條伴勻,嘩,濃郁的的香氣竟然隨風撲鼻而來,加上沾滿醬油香的幼麵、煙韌的紫菜、半流心蛋和大量蔥粒,的確夠曬香口惹味。在此再次謝過店方的邀請,並希望這烏雞湯底能成為拉麵潮流的新指標。

    尖沙咀地帶, 餐館林立。要在眾餐館中突圍而出, 並不容易; 而要在上樓鋪做出名堂更加艱難。這餐廳位於加拿芬道上一商場內, 對面是有如尖沙咀食街的厚福街。商場從來不算大而有名的, 追食店的人氣都只是由applegreen移到才開始, 其他都是些任飲任食的火鍋。不過有趣的是, 以前這些任食火鍋都不是會開到半夜, 只是十一二點便打烊結束。

    可是現在商場食店也有就翻動, 就在這酒樓同層入面也有日本餐, 拉麵等, 感覺也算熱鬧。而這酒樓也是一個新的小菜及火鍋概念。今次也是順朋友介紹來到這裡, 他們也在攪攪酒局, 玩玩盲品, 吃些熱食, 簡單而不錯。
     
    第一個來的是鐵板一哥叉燒。叉燒本來就已經是燒好掛爐保溫的, 不過利用鐵板技術發出少少微溫, 將叉燒溫度保持暖口的同時, 令外層蜜汁不致膠著, 但鐵板微溫又不會弄乾叉燒, 感覺很好。可是叉燒必須留意肥瘦, 我則特別要求要吃肥叉燒, 因為肥肉在熱力下變得份外軟滑, 而且香味更好。多肥的叉燒, 油脂甘香之餘亦發出一陣惹味的燒烤香味。梅頭瘦肉也帶淋軟, 令肥油香味融合, 令口感變得可口。
     
    青紅蘿蔔甘栗煲豬踭。在街吃飯多了, 對湯水難有要求。慣性手勢上, 味精導入, 但是現在在講求健康減化學物質的飲食下, 味精用量減少, 不過調味料中隱藏的味精與色素就少有人察覺。不過這個湯都算是足料, 青紅蘿蔔與甘栗都令湯透出甜味。如果是在家中, 基本上連豬肉也不會用上, 就這樣以夠甜。
     
    招牌回味雞煲皇, 這個惹味作料就肯定會覺濃味和偏鹹了。薑蔥蒜頭紅蔥九層塔花椒辣椒起鑊, 利用少少油份來以熱窩燒香的雞煲。乾燒感覺強烈, 雞肉給爆香, 外層帶少許焦香, 雞肉不老, 味道惹味。我想, 在基本上只有冰鮮雞的香港, 這樣的惹味煮雞方法就已經是一個好選擇, 因為配料加味, 令人喜歡, 蓋過了原來雞的原始味道。難怪街上有這麼多的重慶雞煲, 但是重的都是花椒辣和搧情的味精, 也可滿巷長龍。
     
    蠔皇元貝福袋, 這個利用豆腐皮做出來的福袋, 本來可做得又潮又年輕的。可是偏偏就在內餡裡用上蠔豉及元貝, 令感覺很年夜飯, 加上假髮菜, 簡直是過年三寶。可以現成豆腐皮味道帶有微甜, 與這些三寶內涵感覺格格不入。我寧可酒樓直當素菜菜式, 加入靈芝菇, 秀珍菇之類。又或是北方式一點的雪菜毛豆; 更甚至家庭式一點的豆腐肉碎, 相信味道都會比這一個好。
     
    金銀蒜蒸聖子皇, 聖子用料大隻而且新鮮, 肉身厚而有彈性, 雖然未必是極端的海上鮮游水貨, 但這樣的質量與用料絕對是佳品。蒸蓉粉絲清蒸已聽膩了, 減去粉絲, 加入熟蒜, 芫荽, 椒絲, 感覺新潮一點, 而且生蒜香味吸引之餘, 熟蒜的脆口惹味亦一一呈現。要留意的只是聖子即到即吃, 不然放涼後質感略有硬韌。
     
    薑蔥牛仔骨, 這個菜來了一點新意。通常一般酒樓的牛仔骨作菜不多, 常見的都是黑椒微辣, 用來闢去牛肉羶味。其實牛仔骨肉質較嫩, 近骨位置有少許羶味, 一般都是這樣處理。有時也有機會回一個厚而濃的茨汁, 如京都汁, 中式牛柳汁, 味菜甜酸汁等。然而這裡只用上輕巧的薑蔥及少許酒去味, 感覺比加上茨汁更具靈氣與原始的感覺。牛仔骨肉嫩滑, 沒有給梳打粉醃到苦的感覺。啖啖肉之中也有少少的薑蔥酒味, 可惜油用得太多, 口感有點滯。
     
     
    如果要講到油膩, 又點會少得這個呢?! 這個另叫的砵仔蒸飯, 飯粒本來並不突出。重點在於後加的豬油與豉油, 從豆香味道, 色澤與鹹味來看, 這個並不是如大榮華用的翕仔頭抽, 不過豬肉的油香卻是別的東西不能取代的。將一匙匙的豬油放進熱騰騰的飯中, 豬油香味被完整地逼出, 而飯粒亦猛烈地吸收豬油的膩與光澤, 令飯變成一粒粒的光亮晶瑩。加上豉油鹹香, 味道一流。不過這個玩意必須要快食熱食, 不然飯粒一凍, 油脂感太膩。
     
    魚湯浸時蔬, 其實如同上湯浸菜, 不過魚湯味道比較清淡, 而菜亦相對甜美一點。
     
    瑤柱蛋白炒飯, 老實說, 既有豬油砵仔飯如珠好寶的放在前面, 這個炒飯也給比了一下去。雖然少出來顆粒乾爽, 蛋白順滑而瑤柱有香味, 但是仍逃不出之前吃豬油飯的香味之中。
     
     
    最後是生果拼盤與精美甜品。見果盤組合有火龍果, 芒果及葡萄, 比一般西瓜蜜瓜等來得精美及有誠意。而甜品則是有一點怪的桂花椰汁紅荳糕, 整體效果一般。

    綜觀來說, 酒樓菜式雖不是極高級珍貴之品, 但是每樣感覺穩扎穩打, 傳統作料中卻肯花心思去作改變。然而有些舊有廚房手勢與味道卻無大改變, 令感覺有點老氣。作為食者, 雖然餐廳表現可以, 但似乎有點欠缺重點, 我相信在菜式上應要繼續找尋突破, 令人們清楚目標所為什麼而來。服務方面尚算殷勤, 不過酒樓趕收工式的上菜老毛病依然存在, 有時菜式放涼, 未可及時嚐到最好的。

    I would never in my life consider going to Cheung Chau during the Bun Festival because it is packed with people and I wonder why the Island doesnt sink!

    But I found out from Mjqueen7e that they had the Veggie burger which is ONLY served at Cheung Chau's McDonalds during Bun Festival so I made a trip there!
     
     
     
    It is really weird because in the UK, the Veggie burger is permanently on the menu and in other countries too!
    The UK version is basically spicy and contains chickpeas, coriander and cumin.

    Basically it looks like the McChicken Sandwich with the same mayonnaise sauce but the Hong Kong veggie version contains shiitake mushrooms.
     
     
    Although you cannot really see the mushroom pieces, you can taste them, but you could visually see the peas and sweetcorn.
    The patty was also made with potato as well but not as bad as the reviews described it because I really liked it.
    The taste was similar to the veggie version in UK but without the spices.

    認識多年的友人回港,一眾"地主"當為她洗塵,朋友較喜歡日本菜,為她而設的飯局也由日本菜方向選擇;以往大都選擇交通方便的尖沙咀區,今年剛遇上可愛鴨仔令尖沙咀更旺丁,避免人潮改為大家也方便的紅磡區,地點也選了平日通常是較冷清但交通極方便的都會置富商場。

    只是記得有鴨仔卻忘掉還有五月天,MAYDAY演唱會前的紅館週邊仍是非常熱鬧,商場食肆當也人頭湧湧,不過八時後大都回復平時寧靜,我們也可以有個較清靜地點吃飯。

    從等位時已感到那鐵板烤肉香,本來不太肚餓的也變成開始肚餓了,只是大家又不想烤肉香沾在身上,結果還是選了豐富而不會有油煙的雜錦壽司($138),木盤裡的北寄貝、三文魚、吞拿魚、甜蛋、帶子、甜蝦、熟蝦、鰻魚、蟹柳共20件,計起來尚算是優惠。

    飯糰一口般大小,飯粒握得不太鬆散,只是飯粒也沒有壽司飯會有的酸香,算是港式日本料理的水準吧,自己吃過的三文魚、北寄貝、甜蛋也是可算新鮮,只是幾款刺身沒有什麼鮮味,只算是新鮮不會吃至肚痛的水準。

    壽司盤上那沒染色黃色酸薑反而很好吃,薄得透明的薑片有著醋酸味及一點甜,沒有薑片辛辣情況,清洗味蕾或當作前菜也很讚,朋友們沒加理會的酸薑大部份到了我的碗子裡去。

    滑蛋豬柳飯也是餐牌上心水之一,吉列豬柳浸了蛋汁本來香脆的吉列層變得偏軟,豬柳肉質也沒有特別的鬆軟,跟像炒蛋多過滑蛋的雞蛋配合仍算不錯,這款飯如無意外其實也很難失手。

    三文魚沙律反而有點驚喜,以生菜、牛油果、三文魚粒、水牛芝士、甜椒及車厘茄組成的日式沙律,所有材料實很簡單也不用烹煮,加了一點帶有芝麻香的日式沙律汁後,食味清新可喜!尤以有點彈性的水牛芝士及軟淋牛油果跟爽口生菜的兩種不同口感最為配合,三文魚粒在有油的沙律汁幫忙下更為油潤,魚肉比壽司裡的三文魚更滑溜,一人KO一碗沙律已夠飽肚了。

    自己最有期待的炸蟹餅炸得稍為過火,外觀較深色的不夠漂亮,蟹餅裡果然有一點不是人工蟹柳的蟹肉,一絲絲的蟹肉其實不多也提不起鮮,效果沒有想像中好,相對早前在丼吉的出色炸海鮮餅更不可相提並論。

    整隻燒魷魚跟餐牌裡的圖片沒兩樣,大魷魚肉身蠻厚,像煎熟多過燒熟的魷魚欠缺燒烤香,可幸魷魚一點也不韌,帶甜燒汁為魷魚添上美味,這款口感QQ的小吃比蟹餅更好吃。

    女生飯局好難欠缺甜品,這日式料理的甜品本也不錯,$10一杯雪糕其實已夠吸引,可是這杯大大杯芭菲更加吸引視線,加上價錢不高一於試試。

    像個大酒杯的芭菲未及POKKA的巨無霸雪糕般壯觀,但已有露比星期二的壯觀,兩球軟滑香草/朱古力雪糕、輕軟忌廉、完熟香蕉片、香脆早餐粟米片,及朱古力蛋糕組成的芭菲也不可少看,有點生果及粟米片下心理上也覺得沒露比星期二那杯那麼魔鬼嚕。

    兩款雪糕甜美柔滑跟柔軟朱古力蛋糕已是美味,沒受潮的早餐粟米片增加不少香脆卜卜口感,想不到那香蕉段竟然又香又甜,要多吃生果的我就沒有浪費這水果了! 這杯芭菲可作推介。

    朋友的抹茶雪糕同樣柔滑甜美,有著草香的抹茶味道香濃,$10一球也是值得。

    提拉米蘇有著白蘭地酒味,是大人版本的甜品,可是意式芝士夠滑卻不夠芝士香,稍成憾事,不過又有球香草雪糕相伴,令這份提拉米蘇更形優惠。

    共銀399.9算是平宜日本菜之選,而且又能提供一個能給我們見面詳談的地方,食物已不算是最主要因素了。

    靚女很有心,隨了專程出來替我們挑選合適拍照造型,還送上來自「Teresa Festival」的粟子蛋糕

    粟子味道不過甜,內裡蛋糕鬆軟無比
    還有四粒鮮粟子肉,挺有咬口又不過硬!
    忌廉不多,吃多了也不覺膩滯

    估唔到, 團購嘅份量竟然係咁少! 撈檬之前食過, 今次嘅份量竟然只有正常嘅一半, 最過份都係春卷, 只有一條, 太離譜! 撇除個份量, 撈檬本身味道幾好, 蘿蔔絲同青瓜絲加蔥粒, 味道夠清新亦帶蔥香再撈埋檬粉食, 個水準係有嘅~ 春卷唔夠脆, 應該炸咗好耐, 而料都只係d普遍野…

    生牛肉湯河好大碗, 不過牛肉就只係得兩三塊… 成碗野就主要係得d河粉真係夠晒多, 金不換芫茜蔥等配料都比得好孤寒… 連d青檸紅椒粒嗰d調味料都係得好少… 撇除料少, 其實呢個牛肉湯底味道算係唔錯架喇, 牛肉味頗濃, 亦唔會過鹹~ 河粉較幼身, 質地爽口食落亦有米香, 不過就真係太多食唔晒… 牛肉就係普通肥牛片, 不過不失啦.

    呢個炒通菜係有d求求其其馬虎了事… 炒得好油, d蒜味又入唔到d菜到, 極度懷疑係炒完先加d蒜片上去…

    杯大話七同杯柑桔話梅蜜完全係同一樣野, 上咗枱都完全分唔到, 飲落仲奇怪, 竟然味道十分相似! 顏色、話梅、味道都好似一模一樣咁, 問個侍應, 連佢都唔知… 飲真d, 唯一飲到少少唔同嘅係大話七有汽, 而柑桔話梅蜜就比較甜… 不過我地覺得兩杯都唔好飲…

    以前食過都覺得唔錯, 所以見有團購就急不及待買. 但係今次呢個團購實在有d失望, 食物水準算係keep得到, 但係份量方面就要彈. 另外, d特色飲品都令到我地驚驚地, 下次都係飲番正常野好過.

    Found out about the Caramel froyo flavour from a foodie.

    I was meaning to try it but I was too lazy to walk to Admiralty or Star Street.

    I happened to go past the branch at IFC, so I stopped by and got a cup.

    Caramel froyo:
     
    The caramel froyo was really good, it was as good as the Hazelnut flavour I previously tried.
    It was thick and creamy with strong caramel taste.
    Even though it was cold, you could still taste that distinctive caramel taste when it has been heated up.

    My favourite flavours at Yo Mama are now Hazelnut and Caramel.

    Thanks to the Paul Lafayet group for these new Fragrant blossoms macarons.
     
     
    They come packaged in a lovely box.
     
    As well as the new floral selection, they had the Bailey's dome.

    There were six flavours: violet, poppy, rose
     
    orange blossoms, Osmanthus, and vanilla.
     
    My favourite flavours were the orange blossom and violet because they taste nice and these flavours are rare.
    The orange blossoms was really fragrant and delicate and the violet was unique because I have never tried it before.

    Came here for a late lunch to try the noodles that I did not try on my last visit.

    I have been here quite a few times and was surprised that I had to give it a negative review this time.

    Since it was lunchtime, the lunch sets were posted on the entrance but as I was specifically here to try something on the A la carte menu I asked if the al la Carte menu was still available and I got this extremely rude reply from the receptionist:

    "WHAT"

    so I repeated myself, do you serve the a la carte menu as well?

    Then there was this disgruntled WHAT AGAIN?

    So OK, perhaps she doesn't understand ENGLISH so I said "MENU" instead of a la Carte and she finally understood.

    Anyway, finally sat down and ordered the noodles which took ages to come, while I was waiting, one of the waitresses came over and asked if I needed anything else because they were taking their last orders.
    I would rather they chase up my current order instead of prompting me if I needed anything else and perhaps the late arrival of my food was a punishment because the receptionist was irritated.

    Soba trio:
     
    Basically there were three different sobas, from left to right: Inaka Sobas, Shiretoko Zarusoba, and Sarashina.
    My favourite was the Shiretoko Zarusoba (green), the Sarashina soba itself was salty without the dipping broth and the Inaka Soba was too al-dente and tasteless.

    Soba soup:
     
    It was my first time trying this soup so I did not know what to expect but I was expecting it to be refreshing according to the previous reviews, but the yuzi taste was not refreshing at all, I could only taste yuzu peel.
    However the boiled soba taste was strong.

    Overall, I would only recommend the Chilled sarashina sesame soba with natto and Chilled Shiretoko Zarusoba with sesame and black garlic oil sauce.

    Ukkokei ramen RON is from Japan and I was lucky to try the ramen otherwise I would not have ventured here because it is not near the MTR.
     
    The logo is a big red circle with Dragon written in the middle, slightly similar to the the logo for Kurotaki (Black dragon).
     
     
    Basically they have three types of noodles with four different broths: Miso, Tonkotsu, Shoyu and Okinawa salt.
    The broths here all have Silkie chicken in it.

    All the noodles are topped with Menma, fried onions, Japanese roast pork and an egg.

    On the table they have condiments such as preserved ginger, black pepper, garlic and shichimi, but I felt that the ramen tasted good enough without them.

    The different ramens are paired with different broths to bring out the best taste.
     
    As a personal preference I like the thin white noodles.

    The bowls that they use are quite special too (forgot to take photo) because there is some minerals smeared at the base which keeps the temperature constant for longer and said to make the noodles taste nicer too.

    Miso broth ramen:
     
    The broth for this was delicious, it was thick and strong with a layer of oil on top which keeps the noodles hot.
    It was paired with the curly ramen because more soup could adhere to it giving it a strong taste.

    Okinawa salt ramen:
     
     
    The taste of the soup was lighter than the Miso but not that salty even though the broth is salt flavoured.

    Thin white noodles tossed sauce:
     
     
     
    This one was my favourite because they used the thin noodles and the sauce was rich and every strand of noodle was flavoured.
    Each mouthful was delicious with spring onions and crispy fried onions.
    They only serve 20 bowls per day.

    Personally I liked the Miso broth and the noodles tossed in sauce.

    For improvements, it would be great if there was an English menu because it took me quite a while to figure out the ramen and what to order.
