Coffee problems aside, especially at this highly pretentious outlet which has absolutely ZERO understanding of making a proper coffee - unacceptable for an Italian Brand, their cakes are really very good indeed! Understandable, since the pastry chefs here probably went through the right training in a school and have learnt the all the basics correctly!
TIRAMISU CAKE - Around $290 /LB - This is a Cake not a Trifle version of Tiramisu, so obviously it will have some sort of spongey cake filling as well as expecting a Cheesy/Eggy topping which is set a bit harder!
The Mascarpone Cheese and Eggy taste was apparently, so was the espresso soaked bottom layer as well as an apparent Liquor taste - though it really could still be stronger in both these flavours! Having said that - overall, this cake together with the sprinkling of Chocolate Powder and beautiful presentation, is highly recommended for buying to celebrate your best friend's Birthday!
