Heard a few good comments about Old Town @The Loop Central, so decided to give it a try.   Not sure whether we need to make a reservation but I did anyway.

When we got there it was a bit quite just a few tables were occupied.
We looked through the menu and of course we had to choose the Hainan Chicken, that was their signature dish.  We also ordered Laksa noodles with prawns, Carrot cake, Baby oyster omelette, choi with shrimp paste and fresh coconut juice.

The Hainan chicken was delicious the chicken was very silky and succulent. I am not really a fan of chinese style chicken I prefer my chicken made western style. However this chicken was yummy along with the sauces and the chicken oil flavoured rice it really was perfect.

The Laksa noodle was good had a very coconut aroma to it. The portion was BIG, apart from prawns it had fried fish julienne and fried tofu. One downfall was it was suppose to be laksa noodles with prawns but it only had 2 prawns.

The choi with shrimp paste was very good the flavour was strong but not over powering. For health conscious people it could be seen as too oily. I personally enjoyed it.

The oyster like omelette dish was ordered by my mate I'm not really an oyster fan so gave the dish a missed but judging by the empty plate I guess my mate liked it.

Lastly the carrot cake which I believe is chinese turnip or radish.  The taste is quite unique it's kind of sweet but it's savoury. It's stir fried with egg pieces, I liked it. I've tried this dish in Singapore although it taste better in Singapore but it's not too far out.

Overall the meal was great, service was good and you even get 15% off paying with Amex card which we did. I will definately be back, the Hainan Chicken really deserves another mention.
