Managed to book quite last minute for 2 ppl and was told had to walk 30m to the buffet counter. Buffet starts 18.30-21.30, so was there prompt. Fortunately, we had a table swap and was 3 meters from the buffet counter instead. Food:Good selection of cold starters + seafood. pre-mixed Salad - a bit of a let down as cucumber were soggy and grilled vegetables not fresh.
Mains - limited choice, and scattered all over the place
Chef prep counter
1) Roast beef + Yorkshire pud - can get it blue to fully cooked
2) Peking duck wrap - good with meat
3) Cooked muscles
Pork Ribs, fish fillet, fried rice, fried shanghai noodles (poor).
2 soups - didn't try
Bread / cheese counter - v hard and limited selection, with small a la carte salad, sauces to thick cannot decant out of bottle.
Dessert - the best
Haagan Daz - 3 sorbets, 3 ice-cream serve on mini chocolate dipped cones
Numerous chocolate mouses, blueberry cheesecake, mango pud, crem brulee, bread butter pudding. all rather tasty!
