Came here for lunch as I received a 10% off voucher for lunch, so decided to try it.Kaya used to be across from Times Square and I didn't try it as it didn't cross my mind to do so. But now it's moved to the new Midtown building. The place is huge with bright windows. They have huge private rooms that are great for larger groups.Lunch sets were the regular fair. I ordered the short ribs set. It came with coffee or tea. I asked for ice lemon tea and it was basically Nestea with lemon slices. Food

Lunch sets were the regular fair. I ordered the short ribs set. It came with coffee or tea. I asked for ice lemon tea and it was basically Nestea with lemon slices.
Food came fast. I waited probably 10 minutes after my order. The guy next to me ordered a stew and it arrived immediately.
Short ribs were cut in front of me and there were two pieces. It was a pretty good portion! Tasted great.
Side dishes were bean sprouts and spinach which were ok.
Kimchi which wasn't very spicy. It wasn't fermented enough.
Korean pancake was horrible. Cold, chewy and oily.
Soup was a cabbage soup. Didn't really like but I generally think Korean soups are all not that great to begin with.
Service was all in English as everyone working there were Korean. It was prompt but not friendly as no one smiled. Not even the hostess. Made me feel like entering North Korea.
Might return if friends wanted to do a big gathering, it'd be a choice as I have even more discount vouchers and the private rooms are huge and spacious.
