We were on our way to visit our aunt in Fanling and decided to find a place nearby for lunch before the visit. We were driving around and noticed this restaurant which was located near the corner end of the road. As we very conveniently found a spot just outside the restaurant to park, we decided to give it a try.
For a light lunch, we ordered a red paste linguine, a pizza and some oysters to share. I also ordered a house white wine. The linguine was perfectly cooked with just about right chewy texture. The pizza took longer than we thought to make but it was worth the wait and the ingredients and herbs used were so fresh. The oysters were the highlight (we asked the manager to recommend a few in season) as they were so fresh and creamy (my favourite!).
One thing to compliment about the place is that, just a short lunch time, the restaurant still makes you feel cozy and welcomed. It did not only cover the superficials but attended to the very minute details (e.g. how the waiters waited upon patrons, food and wine quality, attentiveness of the staff).
Certainly a relaxing Sunday experience, will definitely visit again!
