We just walked in, but that lady say that there was a table open for two for about 1  hour.  We're fast eaters, so didn't think it would be a problem (and it wasn't) so we took it.  I ordered mainly off of the specials menu (wasn't really thinking).  Got a really tasty 雪蛤 soup (didn't know it was froggy stuff until after).  I could taste all the different ingredients in the soup separately.  I don't think I ever had that.  Only Friday I thought I had some excellent melon soup who had lots of goo

Only Friday I thought I had some excellent melon soup who had lots of good ingredients, but I didn't taste this kind of detail.

Second was a 避風塘 shrimp dish, which was excellent with some rice.  Very tasty and crispy.  The shrimp used was fresh shrimp flayed and somehow kept flat.  The little onions and bell peppers also had great flavor with the garlic etc.

The third was a more classic 黃斑炆煲.  Fish was fried and then braised in the sauce I think.  My wife doesn't like fish and she ate up the whole thing.  Again I felt that this was prepared with exceeding care.  I personally wouldn't order this again since I don't really like this kind of flavor.  The bamboo shoots were a little on the 老 side.

I think the service was excellent.  They were always ready to help pour the soup when you needed a refill (I would just pretend to lift the lid), or refill your tea for you.  It was a nice decor, and pretty quiet.  Nobody said goodbye until the very last moment though as we were leaving (the waiter did thank us for coming when we paid) though.

For me, this is really refined Cantonese food.  It's not fusion, but just traditional ways but done better.  I think I felt like the experience overall was worth the price.  Others may not think so, and your mileage may vary.
