Came here for lunch as boyfriend wanted to try it. We arrived around 2pm and though there were a lot of people, we didn't have to wait for a table. It claimed to serve Taiwanese food.Menus were bilingual, so I could order on my own without need for translation. Prices were cheap, averaging $40 while they had mini sets for about $25.Boyfriend ordered the braised beef and mince meat rice. A scary oily bowl of rice was put forth. I ordered the mini grilled chicken and mince meat rice. Portion size was same as the regular version. Chicken was flavorless and tough. Mince meat was so oily, the rice was slathered in it. Again full of msg.
For added $22, we could share a snack platter of fried Taiwanese chicken wings, grilled chicken skewers and fish cake. Sadly, all was flavorless.
Sets came with a drink for an added amount of money, depending on what you wanted. Boyfriend had bubble milk tea. I had peach red tea. Perhaps from all the msg, the drinks were a life saver.
The food was so oily and packed with msg, we both couldn't finish. Afterwards, we were so thirsty, after drinking copious amount of drinks afterwards didn't help at all. Definitely won't return.
