I chose the bitter melon egg and bitter melon soba. I don't like bitter melon as I don't like anything bitter, but this was not bitter at all. The egg was ok. I also couldn't taste the bitter melon in the soba. Only the sweet taste of sukiyaki beef. The soba was pretty smooth as well. The salad was fresh. The sea grapes were crunchy and very fresh. They also used a yuzi salad dressing which is one of my favorite dressings. The yuzi konnyaku was fantastic. My okibun was black sesame mochi. The bun should be eaten first as it's hot and crunchy. The filling was abundant. The mochi perfectly gooey. It was like eating a fried donut filled with black sesame tong yuen.

Boyfriend upgraded his drink to an ice Okinawa brown sugar coffee. I tasted a bit and it was not overly sweet. Tasted like typical Japanese coffee. But the ice and cream was thick, making it feel more like a frappacinno. Good stuff!

The peanut tofu was a bit bland. There wasn't much peanut flavor. Thus you really need the Okinawa brown sugar to flavor it.

Serving size seemed small but I was full. Not a bad price, too. I would return if I was in the area but the location is not convenient for me.
