Had a day off and after a day of shopping, I was planning to go for a tea break. I walked by here. Not planning to eat here as I knew there would be a long line like their Causeway Bay branch. But I still wanted to see where it was located so walked in and found no one in line! This was 4 pm. So, in I went! The decor was the same as the Causeway Bay branch. Menu was the same newspaper design.Knowing portion size was huge, I did not order waffles or a sandwich. I ordered a drink..ice matcha azuki

Knowing portion size was huge, I did not order waffles or a sandwich. I ordered a drink..ice matcha azuki bean...and a cotton candy ice cream with expresso.
The ice matcha azuki bean drink was very good. The ice was finely shaved. It wasn't overpoweringly sweet.
The cotton candy ice cream with expresso came out and it was so big, I and a few others around me dropped their jaw. The expresso was in a small plate which you are to pour over the cotton candy. Once you pour it over the candy, it just melted, revealing three scoops of vanilla ice cream and various nuts like hazelnut and macdamia. The ice cream was smooth. The nuts gave it a nice crunchy texture. And mixed with the bitterness of the expresso and super sweet cotton candy, it was like a flavor explosion.
I was so full, I literally rolled out of there a happy daze.
It should be worth noting, though the service staff speak Mandarin, it's only an act to maintain their illusion of being in Taiwan. I'm sure if you spoke any language, they'll still reply in Mandarin. As I spoke in both Cantonese and English and was still replied in Mandarin and still understood what I said.
