Clear soup base is good and tasty enough, though nothing fanciful. Just enough to warm the stomach on a cold rainy day. The beef slices are thin enough to be cooked in the steaming hot soup upon being served. if the purpose of stir-frying it is to make it a lighter choice, then it would be better to cut down on that oil content.
The shrimp rice roll is a little too generous with the vermicelli, with the shrimps being too small and tasteless. I wondered if I was eating vermicelli rice roll or shrimp rice roll (as it was named and priced after)...
