I came here about a year ago, but I can't really remember how the food was. This day, I decided to revisit it with my grandma and aunt. Environment & Hygiene:This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Traders Hotel. The place is quite spacious and clean looking. Also, it has a nice and quiet atmosphere, which is quite relaxing. Taste & Value:For lunch, you have a choice of ordering 1 appetizer+ 1 main+ 1 drink or 1 main + 1 dessert + 1 drink for $128 and 1 appetizer+ 1 main + 1 dessert+

Taste & Value:
For lunch, you have a choice of ordering 1 appetizer+ 1 main+ 1 drink or 1 main + 1 dessert + 1 drink for $128 and 1 appetizer+ 1 main + 1 dessert+ 1 drink for $148.
There were a few items on the lunch menu that caught my attention, so we ordered 2 $128 sets + 1 $148 set so that we could try more.

What we got:
1. Drinks

1 Hot Barley Water & 2  Calamansi Drink The Calamansi drinks were quite nice. Not overly sweer nor sour. Very refreshing to drink and went nicely with the exotic spices of the food. I didn't try the barley drink.

2.Appetizers
a) Chicken Satay Nicely grilled chicken that remained juicy. The peanut sauce was also good.

b) Rojak The sauce was thick and sweet but very fishy.
I didn't like it at all.

c) Gado Gado This had spinach, bean sprouts, cucumbers, tofu and a hard-boiled egg etc..and served with fresh shrimp chips. This was better than the Rojak. The peanut sauce was quite rich and the ingredients were fresh. Not bad.

3. Mains
a) Penang Assam Laksa Terrible. The chicken was dry and the broth was bland but at the same time overpowered by lime juice. None of us liked this dish.

2. Mee Siam Quite tasty, but spicy. It was a sour kind of spicy, which was very appetizing. It was the best main of the 3. I liked the egg and tofu in it.

3. Nasi Lemak This dish was okay. The rice was too wet and mushy, but the sauce on the side was good; as well as the fried fish and peanuts. The chicken was okay. It was flavourful, but was  undercooked so we showed the server and she gave us 2 other pieces.

4. Dessert
a) Kuih Dadar The reason why I wanted to come to this restaurant.
The only dish that I can remember from my visit a year ago. Inside the soft pandan crepe is some shredded coconut cooked in palm sugar. The pandan made it smell good and the coconut made it taste good!
 I recommend this!!

b) Abok Abok This tri-colour sago dessert had an interesting taste and sugar. It was very chewy and I thought it was interesting to eat it with the sugary liquid.

Service:
Service was prompt and it was nice of them to offer to replace our undercooked chicken.

Final Verdict:
I believe that the food is quite authentic, but what I ordered both times were soso, and pricey. Now I remember why it took so long for me to go back even though I live nearby.
