I tried this Siu Mei place following a recommendation from a colleague. When I arrived, it wasn't clear what queuing system was in place but eventually we were told where to go for takeaway. I ordered Char Siu and Roasted Belly Pork with Rice - I had heard such great things about the meat that I added an additional $20 of meat!!The Char Siu was really tasty - nice, lean cuts with a nice sweet sauce....definitely different to other Siu Mei Houses. The Char Siu was really tasty - nice, lean cuts with a nice sweet sauce....definitely different to other Siu Mei Houses. The Roasted Belly Pork was pretty good - although quite fatty the pork was succulent and cooked well. The crackling was great and really crunchy!
On a downside, the service really let this place down. They weren't happy I had ordered more meat or "lean" meat as it seem to mess with their "system". It was clear they wanted you in and out ASAP regardless of what you spend. Definitely left a sour taste on the experience.
