I was having a rough day at work so my friend took me to this Japanese all-you-can-eat-buffet. First off, there really isn't much space in this restaurant. My friend and I were basically sitting with another couple at the same table. I had to wiggle my table a bit away inorder to create the idea that we were not dining together.
Most of all, even though the staff was amazingly friendly and professional, they kept hitting our table everytime they walk by (and trust me, at an all-you-can-eat Jap buffet, the servers walk around a lot)
and it was quite irratating.

Anyhow, the first thing we ordered were the OYSTERS.
They came as a set with the whelks and shrimp (and NO, they do not allow you to just order the oysters). You can order as many sets as you want, as long as you can finish it (we had 3 sets). The oysters were creamy and fresh, they were delicious!

Their sashimi was very nice too (not the cheap kind), but the best thing of all is they have scallops and crab which comes rarely in Jap buffets. GOD we had our fair share!

I think this baked cheesy dumpling was an experimental fail. The cheese and tomato sauce just didn't go well with a dumpling, and most of all, the inside of the dumpling was kind of cold. Hence, I don't think you need to order this (too filling as well).

This was my favorite!! The glazed salmon, scallop and waygu beef sushi basically stole the limelight. I had 8 pieces of the salmon sushi (don't judge me), and each piece melts in your mouth. These are definitely MUST TRYS.

Surprise surprise that they had BBQ lamb and it tasted nice. Not fresh, but very well spiced rosemary lamb with a side of mustard. Very worth the try for a Jap buffet

I loved the steak too. Basically I ate the whole plate myself because it was super juicy and flavorful. Usually buffets give you the dried, chew ones that tastes like erasers, but these were scrumptious!

I love crab roe salad but I really didn't like this. I felt like I was eating spoonfuls of mayo.
Seriously, I would thought you try to tweak the sauce so it tastes something for original, but yah, they basically just put spoonfuls of mayo in this once, hence I had to make my friend finish it for me.

Overall, it's a super cheap place to go to for a large variety of decent food. I especially like their idea where you can only order 2 pieces of anything at once. Yes, you might feel controlled and worry that they miss your order, but in our case, we got to try everything and everytime we RE-order something, they came pretty quickly. Hence, GOOD DEAL to try for people who have BIG appetites!
