I specially made reservations for this restaurant because I really wanted wine and oyster that day, and their all-you-can-taste wine bar blew me away. My friend went to the restaurant with me for the wine tasting (always more fun to drink with more than one). I remember walking in at around 6:30pm and the restaurant was quiet and comforting even though the June 4th parade was at their peak outside. The waiter that served us catered to our every whim and even took us to a tour around the wine tasting area and the seafood counter so we could choose our dishes.

I absolutely fell in love when I saw all the different types of wine (I'm a super wine lover for those who are curious). Basically, you pay a fixed price of $130-$150 (I really can't remember) and you begin serving yourself to whichever wine you want to taste. There were about 4-6 bottles of each white and red, hence at the end we were slightly tipsy after tasting all of them.

There is a large variety of seafood you can choose from including oysters, lobsters, and other shellfish which the restaurant can prepare for you whichever way you want.

We ordered 8 oysters and they were absolutely mouthwatering creamy with the tantalizing fragrant of the ocean. My friend and I loved it and we devoured every single one.

I matched the oysters with the Tarapaca Chardonnay and it was a perfect match. This specific chardonnay had a velvety texture followed by lime and hints of vanilla which made the oysters' freshness stand out more than ever. It was a gorgeous moment.

The Parma ham and melon was nice especially with the rockets--the bitterness really brought out the saltiness of the ham. Personal preference, prosciutto (Parma is a brand of prosciutto) and white/red wine don't pair well, hence I never put them together.

I was craving it that day so I ordered a side of creamy buttered mash. It was heavenly buttery and devine, BUT its oh-so-fattening (remember to wear stretchy pants)

The tomato pasta arrived the last but my friend and I were quite full by then. This tasted truely italian with the raw aroma of tomato and herbs. Very nice, but this was desperately outshined by the others...

Overall, the whole dining experience was elegant and comfy. There weren't a lot of patrons even during peak hours. My friend and I had an amazing time sipping all the wine and chatting away, hence this is perfect place to go if you want to catch up with a friend or share a romantic dinner with a loved one.
