This isn't my first time to a Tulsi restaurant. I've come to expect good quality food with good service from this ever expanding restaurant. I was walking on Tsat Tsui Mui Road looking for a small late meal with a friend when I saw the new store front. I didn't hesitate and went right in. Since my friend wasn't eating it was all my choice. I don't want to talk about the quality of the food. I don't want to talk about the quality of the food. It was what I had come to expect but the service here was poor to average when at the end of the meal. The waitress started saying "bye, bye, bye. . "and laughing with her coworkers, including the management. As we were the last in the restaurant it was directed to us. I only just settled the bill two minutes before and was finishing off my beer. It was so uncalled for that I couldn't believe that they were talking about my friend and I. I even tipped them handsomely! I will never go back to this restaurant. It can not undo the ignorance that was on display that night.
I could have been offended several times during the meal, when for instance the male waiter, played astonishment and resentment when I told him my order. Apparently, I didn't order enough food for his liking. The tip wasn't directed at him but at the other pleasant waitress that unfortunately couldn't wait to see us go. My guest and I were nothing if not polite and quick with our meal. And we spent over $200 and I finished eating in 20 minutes or less. If they didn't want us to be in there restaurant they shouldn't have taken our order. I'm glad I can post this experience on OPEN RICE because I needed to share this. I will in the future to leave some positive reviews. Until then, do you really want to support this restaurant and their management? Imagine it was u and you were taking a date here or a small business gathering. . . shameless.
