Table booked a few days in advance and was called that morning to re-confirm.

Table for 8. Staff immediately friendly and helpful as numbers were probably going to fluctuate on the original booking.

Drinks were fast.

House bread was delicious - tasted really fresh and was really nice and light - really good. We had several.

Pizza came to feed Junior - and it was cooked really well. Romangola (sp?) and the base was nice and thin and crispy. All good. Devoured very quickly.

Pastas came - one vongole and one tomato sauce of a type. All cooked well and all very flavoursome. Pasta was cooked slightly al dente and not overdone like so many other places selling pasta.

Mussels? Fantastic. Really nice cream sauce and all cooked to perfection. No complaints there at all - probably the first ones like that we have come across in HK and will certainly be going back just for them. Highly recommended by my wife.

Carry in birthday cake was cut up by the staff which was a nice touch.

All in all - a great dining experience, good venue, good staff and good food. A good place for a birthday dinner especially for a group.

Will be going again, sooner rather than later.
