Nice cozy Korean chow Smile May 23, 2012

I didn't use to like Korean food too much. I couldn't eat spicy and didn't like the cold and sour in food. But having been back recently from Montreal where there's a large Korean population, my taste for Korean food has definitely developed. I ate a few times at this place a long time ago but this is the first time after returning from Montreal.

Appetizer

lol The kimchee appetizer were very nice. I particularly like the cabbage kimchee, which has had a nice sour taste to it after a decent time of fermentation (an acquired taste I didn't use to have, and something my HK friends didn't really like it so much)

chopstick The kimchee-jeon (pancake) was a little too soft and too thin.

smile Rice cake stick wrapped in a beef meatball was nice, but nothing to write home about.

lol The BBQ ribs were the best pick and the favorite of the night. They were nicely flavored and tasted great with the sauce with a little mustard.

We had a few other items as well but forgot to take photos! ... Grrr!

It's a nice place all and all, will defo come back and try out other stuff!
