Went to this place because my mother was in town and her friend had a voucher to spend at this place. We booked a table for lunch and were seated at a quiet area of the buffet, which is good because I do not prefer to be seated in the walk path at buffet places. Also we arrived a couple minutes before noon (the time for lunch buffet is 12PM-2:30PM) and I took the liberty to wander between the different stations. They offer a salad buffet with a variety of canned food, like: pineapples, sweet corn

They offer a salad buffet with a variety of canned food, like: pineapples, sweet corn, etc. Normally I would not mind, but these canned food were not from the best quality. Next they have a cold seafood bar offering: shrimps, mussels, crab legs and snails, OK-ish. A small Sushi bar provided Sashimi and a couple of Futo Maki's. I ordered Salmon Sashimi and the meat tasted a bit mushy, also the chef did not take the effort to place the Sashimi neatly on a dish.

My mother ordered a noodle soup which was quite nice. You could choose from 3 different kind of noodles and from about 10 side dishes. She liked it a lot and finished the whole bowl, although she did mentioned that is was a bit salty.

I did had a full plate of Basmati rice with chick peas, mutton curry, veggies, naan bread, spinach and skewers, which tasted quite al right. I realized that I arranged this plate because there was not much left which seemed appealing...

The best part would be the dessert area, they had a couple of good looking cakes lined up and I heard that they would not refill the cakes once they are 'gone'... That's when I missed out on the Cheesecake. I replaced my appetite for a slice of the raspberry cake. Again OK-ish.

In general I would not say that this place offers low quality food, you have to see it in relativity. The price is not that high as the 5-star hotels, the service is quite attentive and I think it is a fair quality and value for the price they charge. Although I might be saying this because we only paid HKD $140 per person after we handed in the voucher. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.
