it's lucky that we've reserved the table the day before we came. There were lots of people queuing outside, probably because it's getting colder these days AND the food in Kwan Kee is of such a high quality that it worths people waiting in the cold for long. Freakly, we had high expectations to Kwan Kee as many of my friends have applauded its 煲仔飯 as the best in town. Kwan Kee did not disapooint us though. The 飯焦 is so yummy!!! Before the coming of claypot rice, my friend and i ordered three more dishes: 粟米班腩,蔬茶煲 and 京都焗肉排 . They are equally delicious too!!!! I especially like 粟米班腩. The班腩 are very tender and it's so big that we're already a bit full after finishing the dish...
It's hard to pick a flaw for the food served here. Yet, like other famous restaurants who can always attract customers, Kwan Kee's service was not satisfactory, if not poor. Some waiters and waitresses there were a bit rude, giving us a rather negative impression. Of course, we're food slaves-- wherever there's good food, wherever we'll go. Hence, I'm sure we'll come back again
