I was originally on the hunt for the nice Four Seasons Tea Set at their lounge, but since it was packed with shoppers from China there was no way to get in. So my accompaniment and me decided to hop over to Blue Bar for a tea and maybe some snacks.
Let me structure this review in three parts:
1. Food/Drinks Quality: I went along with a classic earl gray tea pot and we also had their chocolate tea. The tea is flawless and you really won't cry a tear after your $60 that it'll suck from your pocket. Especially the chocolate tea has a really good aroma.
2. Interior/Atmosphere: We arrived in the late afternoon and there was still a bit space for us, first at the bar and then we were directed to the first available table. During our sit-in the sun faded away, releasing space for the neatly illuminated venue. It's more of a place where you have your drinks, as the name says, but the comfy seats allow you to relax with a tea either. It was a bit noisy, because of a significant percentage of the same shoppers as mentioned above, but the venue kept it's high-class feeling.
3. Service: WOW! Nice, exactly what I expect from a venue located in a world wide recognized brand name hotel. Our first waitress was still a bit unaquainted with the manners and versatility your should bring to light, but that is likely because she was fairly a new hire. Later on we placed orders and requests to the bar manager directly and virtually every of our request for refills, exchanges etc. were executed with a smile. Very attentive personnel.
Summed up, the Blue Bar is a place I'll definitely visit again.
