Would love to exploring the old district and walk around this Shau Kei Wan street, seeing there are quite many old-style outlets. Would love to exploring the old district and walk around this Shau Kei Wan street, seeing there are quite many old-style outlets. Very interesting, I saw this restaurant using an English name, unique in this area and walked in to try.

It’s around 12:30pm, peak lunch hours because there are schools nearby, luckily there were plenty of available seats, only 2 tables occupied. Might be it's quite new and not yet exposed to many potential customers

Felt comfortable when I stepped in, by it's simple and decent interior design and they put printing on the mirror wall, birds and trees, quite nice. Table setting was clean and neat.

The waiter passed me the lunch menu, there are 7-8 sets of pasta, rice and Japanese noodle as well. Simple "HK style" western cuisine, such as spaghetti with tuna and crab sticks, baked seafood rice, chicken salad, etc. I ordered Smoked Salmon and mushroom angel hair and coffee.

After ordering, and found that actually they have appetizer and special drinks as well, in 3 different mini-poster on the table, didn't aware of it 有Ham, baked escargot, cost around $28-30 with the set, and drinks upgrade package to cappuccino, etc.

Serving time was quick, just a few minutes, too quick because it is not hot enough. I think the angel hair was prepared in advance and cook the creamy sauce upon order and just put everything together with the smoked salmon. Presentation was not bad, based on the expectation of a local restaurant, it looks quite nice.

2 pcs of smoked salmon, quantity of angel hair is considering big; it will be better if they make more portion of sauce and mushroom because only the bottom had some sauce and the top was too dry. And it is not hot enough, so the taste was badly affected.

Coffee itself is not bad, but they add the cold milk in it...

Overall service is pleasant but can be improved. For example, there are 70% empty table and when there was another guy entering, why they lead him to share my table? The lgostics flow can be improved to make the whole dining experience better.

Other Info. : Based on their name and effort made in interior design and decoration, I think the owner would like to make something different, kind of upgrade of ordinary local restaurants. There are obvious improvement areas of their service and good quality to make it works, or it will be even worse as customers are pushed away by their "up-scale" image in this district.
