Haven’t been to Hung’s Delicacies since it is awarded 1 Michelin Star, as I have been worrying of the long waiting time to get a table. I must thank Philip for inviting me to the private dinner, giving me an opportunity to taste all famous dishes on the menu, as well as those tailor made dishes out of the menu in one time.

All the dishes taste so good that evening. It's a marvelous experience to have very fresh Chiuchow-styled cold seafood dishes there, specially prepared by the chef, Hung. Would definitely love to gather 20+ friends, and organize my own private dinner there asap!

At Hung’s Delicacies, I would recommend ordering the following:
Chicken Leg’s Tendon with Mustard flavored– Must! Duck Tongue in Chinese Liquor Flavor– Must! Vegetarian Goose Marinated Assorted– Must! Chua Lam’s Mix Noodle in Sauce
I am not sure where in HK beside Hung’s Delicacies would serve Chicken leg’s Tendon. For those do not eat chicken legs, I would still definitely recommend them trying this. Just forget it's part of the chicken leg, and taste it. Chicken leg’s Tendon is crispy and tastes fresh. For me, the mustard flavor is not spicy at all, but rich.
I don’t like Ar Hung’s Duck Tongue much, as it is the full tongue. For lazy people like me, Duck Tongue in Chinese Liquor Flavor and Duck Tongue in Soya Sauce Flavor are sure easier. Liquor flavor is not too strong, so, not bitter at all. Yummy!

Marinated Goose + Marinated Layered Pig's Intestine in Aspic + Marinated Bean Curd are my favorites! Goose is soft, pig's Intestine is tender; and bean curd is so silky. The sauce is rich, and deeply absorbed into the food. Surely need to buy some take-away home to share with family!

Braised Assorted Vegetables with Red Marinated Tofu Sauce is a famous dish here, but personally I don’t like the red marinated tofu sauce much. So, I would recommend Vegetarian Goose and Turnip with Shattered ham in Soup, if you want something apart from meat. Vegetarian Goose is fine cut. The layers are thin and very soft, well seasoned by lo-shui sauce. Turnips are very fresh and sweet.

Both Chua Lam’s Mix Noodle in Sauce and Ar Hung’s Mix Noodle in Sauce smell very good. Chua Lam’s Mix Noodle is mixed with lard, so, obviously it look more glossy than Ar Hung’s Mix Noodle. If you don’t keep thinking it’s lard, and how unhealthy it is, I would think Chua Lam’s Mix Noodle in Sauce is much more tasty.
