Tong Pak Fu    糖百府  

Was in Mong Kok for dinner so decided to head over here for desserts. Knew they were famous for their shaved ice and we decided to order one of the pre-designed ones on the menu instead of personalizing and picking our own toppings and flavour. The Strawberry and Milk Shaved Ice was my favourite dessert of the night. No wonder they're famous for their ices! The milk flavoured ice was smooth and milky, not too sweet but very good paired with the strawberry sauce. The strawberry sauce wasn't overly artificial and there were also fresh strawberries in the sauce. The sago was also great, some of it was the crunchy type so it provided great texture contrast with the ice and sauce. Yum !The rest of the desserts, 楊枝金露 and 芝麻湖 wasn't anything special and I wouldn't come again just for them. I feel that the 楊枝金露 wasn't cold enough. Nonetheless, they were decent, didn't taste bad.

Restaurant itself: clean and tidy, tables were reasonably spaced out. When I went, it was still quite early and there wasn't anybody yet. The service was good, polite and relatively efficient. Not too bad overall, but definitely better dessert options elsewhere (especially if you are not coming for their 冰!
