Went there on Sunday Morning, good location with parking metres outside.

Simple setting with a Big wooden table. No fancy deco, white wall, a place for just a cup of coffee. Would be nicer to have hung some paintings on the wall to lighten up the atmosphere.

Tried the Flat white and Piccolo Latte. Above average, better than many coffee in other places in HK, could feel the aroma of the coffee. Flat white served with fair balance of the milk and espresso. Piccolo latte, as expected was much stronger taste than ordinary latte. $40 for this small cup is not cheap though. Also had a ham and cheese sandwich, it came with a thick piece of ham, quite nice. The only downside about their coffee is the temperature. Although I am not a coffee expert, understood that coffee should not be overly hot, but it was just lukewarm for both of them. Wonder what went wrong to have such brewery from a coffee specialty.

That's the right temperature! Jul 08, 2011 12:11 203.145.x.x
To really enjoy the velvety texture and the milk sweetness, you cannot 'scald' the milk, frothing the milk pass 65C. James Hoffmann, the world barista champion n partner at the famous roaster Square Mile Coffee Roaster of the UK, even suggested enjoy the coffee at even lower temp around 48C. My take, try lots more at Barista Jam and other cafe that knows how to serve milk drink for a while, say a week, and go back to you 'superhot-warm to the heart" type at other cages then u should under why coffee enthusiast all over the world prefer their drink "warm", never hot! Beside, the hot temp shocks the taste bud, making one less on the benefit milk frothing... Suggest you try more of this drink at this lower temp!
