Worthy of the hype? Smile May 03, 2011

My wife and I have been there for lunch 3 or 4 times in the past few months. I always get either the beef or black pork curry udon and she varies her order.

The food here is good as most of the reviews say. The black pork melts in your mouth tongue, and the fried black sesame encrusted pork chop is excellent smile.

The only real problem here is the service. huffy The staff here seem pretty casual about their jobs and the food is served whenever the cook gets around to making it. I was halfway finished with my noodles before my wife got hers. Also, I don't mind being told that we can only have the table for 1 hour, but when it takes 30 minutes to get your food, this can become a problem. This is especially so when your soup is served boiling hot in a stone bowl that takes 10 minutes to cool down enough to eat!

Come here for the great food, not the service.

Wait time for food, 30 min plus! May 22, 2011 12:04 124.169.x.x
I agree, service should not be this slow! BUT I would say it is worth the wait, esp for char siu ramien tongue
