Reminded me of Calgary

It was almost 2pm and everywhere is packed with people for lunchin Langham Place. We decided to go all the way to up the top floor to aviod the traffic and we found MR. Steak Cafe. The waitress advised us last call is in half an hour and the salad bar will be close. No problem with that and we were leaded into the restaurant. When we are about to grab a seat and another waitress told us to sit outside instead. Confusing service. So we sat down, the waitress poured us some water and splash

The waitress advised us last call is in half an hour and the salad bar will be close. No problem with that and we were leaded into the restaurant. When we are about to grab a seat and another waitress told us to sit outside instead. Confusing service. So we sat down, the waitress poured us some water and splash it on the table. She didn't say a word and just left. Great! I know it is going to be a tough lunch to sit through. At least another waitress saw it and came to aplogize and clean up. I am not a salad kind of guy so I didn't want to order the set lunch. Tried to order an item on the menu and I was told you can only order set lunch only, thanks for telling me now after we already seated. The soup and Main course came fairly quick but after that it was nightmare! It is almost like they don't provide service after main course. After the waitress walk by us, dropped 2 plates of dessert off (and I mean she literally just walk pass us) and the service stop. No one bothered to tell us what dessert it is (on the menu as "Daily Dessert") and ask us what we wanted to drink. it took around 45 minutes for us to get our coffee and to pay the bill, maybe they were having a competition on avoiding eye contacts. Anyway I don't recommand coming here unless you know your date will be late and you needed to kill time. Reminded me when I used to live in Calgary every meal is 2 hour plus.

 Australian Ribeye Steak
Actually I have to give this one a thumb up. Steak is tender and juicy and prefectly done. Wish the gravy was not blended and the mustard has more kick to it. The mashed potato is not made with real potato it is potato flakes.

 Can't remember what it is call but it is a boness chicken thigh with spicy pasta sauce that you can buy from supermarket. I can easy made that at home.

 Dessert - Since no one bother to tell us what it is My wife and I agreed that it should be a chocolate Brownie but a SUPER DRY version of it. It tasted like it been sitting around for days
