Since the first time I ate the Beef Rice Bowl at one of the first Yoshinoya 19 years ago in Shatin, I am addicted to it and even I moved to Canada I always try to find this "don" at japanese restaurant and even when I go visit LA I still go eat at Yoshinoya. I went as far as looking up the recipe and make this dish myself. It is the first time I went back to Yoshinoya in around 5-6 years and I will have to say it is not as good as before (I can actually make it better myself but with better quality of beef : P ). The menu has alot more items on it since then but I only order the Original beef rice bowl, maybe the fact that they are losing money? the beef and the rice is not as good quality as before but the sauce remain the same which is a good sign. Overall it made a good fast food dish still if u dont feel like burger & Fries.
