This Cooked Food Centre is pretty interesting because if you sit for long enough, you'll notice that a lot of its Customers Base are not Chinese. The reason is because this shop, WAI KEE, serves Halal approved food. With the Sheikh Mosque nearby, you see a lot of Middle Eastern or Indonesian Muslim faces coming here to eat at this cooked food centre. The interesting part is that WAI KEE serves Curry Lamb, a typical Middle Eastern dish as well as Roast Duck, also braised Pomelo Skins. So it

Roast Duck Rice -
Their 燒鴨 Roast Duck here is not bad (its NOT Roast Goose). It has a bit of marinades taste, the skin is half way between crispy and chewy. Although this shop is much more famous, its ex-staff's shop 海記燒臘飯店 adjacent opposite to here serves the better Roast Duck version. 3/5
Curried Lamb -
The spices and herbs, fruits are all prepared in house. The flavour has a very good depth rather than spicy. The lambs had a strong lamb's flavouring, but I found it distracting that it contained a lot of bones intact. There honestly wasn't a lot of meat. 3.5/5

A VERY INTERESTING SHOP IN A COOKED FOOD MARKET NEXT TO AND ON TOP OF A RAW FOOD MARKET. THIS REALLY SHOWCASES HONG KONG AS AN INTERNATIONAL CENTRE.
