- When I received my 低調高手雞蛋仔 which is the 2nd time I've tried it after a few months (SCORE = Smile '3' last time), what I noticed is that now it has many small porous holes on the surface.
This is usually the sign of too much raising-flour portion, which are normally used more on the Waffles than Eggettes.
- This formulation made the 雞蛋仔 here quite low in density and light, but luckily its crispy this time rather than limp unlike last time, although funnily, this crispiness didn't last very long as by the time I got to the last remaining pieces it became soft again.

- The Egginess Taste as mentioned below by 史馬田 is still quite low but already better than last time, yet it was not aromatic at all. The taste in the mouth ended up being more of a floury-custardy rather eggy aromatic taste. A same day, direct side-by-side comparison of the 2nd updated version from 心儀美食, showed that I wasn't imagining things in this judgment because the 心儀美食 version had about 50%+ eggy taste and aroma than here! (But then that had problems of its own.... read other review)

ALL IN ALL -

The one here had an ok-attractive texture despite the porous surface, and overall its still half-a-class better than the one I ate after this at 臨記 in Tin Hau. Both however don't have much eggy taste at all compared to the better ones that we unfortunately only encounter rarely and randomly on the streets. Its not something worth traveling all the way to eat since it ain't that special to make a detour.

Competition is certainly heating up, and not only on this street but throughout Hong Kong for the best Eggette version!

A High '3' to Very low '4' here.
