We went to Agnes B Le Pain Grille for a girly friday night out... to chit chat and catch up. The ambience and decor inside is lovely, very initmate and cosy which would have made it perfect for a hot date. My only reservation was that the tables for two were seated so close together (particularly the ones lined along the wall). We got a corner table, which was ok, but for couples prefering a little more privacy i recommend the tables along the coridor further inside.

The food is so so... nothing to shout about really. In fact it was so forgettable, that i don't really remember much about it. The dessert (which i do remember) was lovely. The platter is especially nice, cuz it comes with a lovely selection of the top favoruites in very sharable portions so you don't leave feeling like you stuffed your face and busted your diet.

I went back two weeks later just for coffee. Wanted to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the lovely view. Unfortuntely the ventilation on the balcony is terrible with the exhaust fitted outside, so u end up breathing in all the "cooking" smell. Very unpleasant.

The bar area for coffee is quite nice, but not all that conducive with their swirly style chairs.

All in all, i'd say this place is very much all style but very little substance.
