We booked table for buffet about 2 months ago, this is a buffet restaurant which my sister recommended a lot. We arrived at 7:00pm, then I took a look at the buffet bar. I found no Oyster. I am a 100% Oyster lover, and I asked the waiter if they have Oyster tonight, and the answer was, "yes, later." I then started ordering my first sushi dish and wait for my oyster.
After 15 min, someone so called, assistant manager came to my table and notify us they do not have Oyster that night. It was a last minute notification for not having oyster, and they would like to offer us 10% discount as the compensation. I told him I am not really satisfy because I came only for the Oyster and they should have to notify us before we were sat. After numerous complaints, they finally offered us free juice for my whole table, but when I tried to order 2nd round, we need to negotiate again. I was just getting sick and tried on 'begging" for stupid juice, and I was told they already tried their best and not able to offer alcoholic drink. The worst part was, I saw a girl came to celebrate her b-day with her boy friend, and they came in at 7:30pm. The restaurant did not try to tell the customer about the oyster incident, they wait until they started their first dish. I think their intention is to hid the truth and cheat on their customer. For spending about HK500 per head, I would have expected more from a high reputation restaurant. With no oyster offer, the buffet really have nothing to offer. And the sushi bar is jam with orders. I remembered we ordered the 3rd round sushi at 8pm and they were brought to our table at 930pm. We totally did forget the order which came late for more than an hour. They have 2 types of crab legs. (taste fresh), ham (above average), sushi bar (freshly made sushi), cheap desserts, such as fruit tart, cheese cake, mousse cake, cream puff, and 2 different favor ice-cream.
As a conclusion, I do not recommend this restaurant at all. Because I do not agree the way they do business, and I would rather pay for full price for a buffet with oyster and more food selections.
