Came back for a revisit here for a semi-sweet albeit Cold Tofu Curd, just to re-evaluate and to be fair to the shop. Could not bring ourselves to order Hot version, its so damn hot outside!
Semi-Sweet Cold Tofu Curd: On this occasion, unlike last time which had no beans taste AT ALL and it was even sour, this time it wasn't sour at all. I think it carried a hint of bean's taste in today's batch but it was very weak. My friend said the same thing. Apparently the sourness comes from it being unfresh upon research - this didn't surface this time. Good!
The texture however was very '鞋' today. Even for a cold version, this shouldn't be the case. My hot one last time was also quite dense.
I would score this time around high '3' and higher if it was more smoother on the mouth!
