Girls night out Smile Jun 14, 2009

My friend's bday celebration dinner on Friday, and we were looking for a place with variety where we can stay and enjoy the evening. She insisted on buffet, so we thought that this would be a good choice in CWB area. Afterall, we work at CWB and can squeeze in a shopping spree b4 dinner. tongue

We made a reservation for 7:30pm, and quite surprised by the "Happy Birthday" remark from the girl in the front. I told them that this would be a bday dinner, but never expected that they would remember!

Some highlights of the food:

chopstick Oysters
I found it a bit on the salty side, but bday girl enjoyed it. I guess it's all about personal preference. Already better than a lot of hotels, as they were fresh ~

chopstick Crab legs
They were lonnnnnnggggggggggggggg
Yummy smile

chopstick Beef
They had a number of choices that night, personal fav is the Japanese beef, off course.
Bday girl said the ones on the stewers are a bit overcooked, so would prefer the grilled ones.

chopstick Sashimi
Sweet shrimp looked nice, but had not been entirely defrosted yet. Scallops were sweet, and so was the white fish.

chopstick Desserts
I wanted to buy a tiramisu from Cova, but bday girl stopped me and said "why do we need to bring food to a buffet??". Very true!
The desserts were excellent, and there were many choices. Can't name them all, so just a remark.... don't miss out on the little cups at the back!! They look plain, but the lychee aloe vera jelly is definitely worth a try!lol
