To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 26th December 2007 It's easy to be lazy bone on holidays. Two friends of mine and I just wanted to lay back and enjoy lunch on Boxing Day. That's why we went to this famous restaurant. It's easy to be lazy bone on holidays. Two friends of mine and I just wanted to lay back and enjoy lunch on Boxing Day. That's why we went to this famous restaurant.

We ordered some dim sums...

蟹肉餃x 1
帶子餃x 1
泥棗湯圓x 1
東來順雲吞x 1
素菜餃x 1
雞煨麵x 1
圓肉桂花糕x 1

The restaurant serves not only Beijing/Shanghai food but also Cantonese dim sums. The ingredients was fresh and presentation of food was superb. We could hardly give negative comment. Yet, we found 泥棗湯圓sweeter than expected. The most impressive ones were 蟹肉餃, 魚肉餃, 圓肉桂花糕and 素菜餃. Crab meat on tart seemed to be marinated with Chinese wine. The fragrance was rarely found in dim sums. We could see the filling inside all dumplings with the almost transparent dumpling 'skin'. Looks and taste were just wonderful...

The bill came to $44x. In such restaurant located in 4-5 stars hotel, we believed it's worth the money.

It was a long lunch for us from 12:30 pm till 2:30pm. After that, we managed to have our first visit to Elements. Very enjoyable Boxing Day. Life can be that simple.
